FG meet up!

Post by AussiePam »

Not in January, unfortunately. I'll be in Canada then, Betty. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up with you all some time soon though. I expect to be in the Europe/UK in April or May. Might get to see one or two of you then. Who knows?

I am happy to travel wherever or alternatively I am happy to have a couple of houseguests if required. I don't really care one way or the other!

I just think that as we are now in December we need to think about this a bit seriously as some people may require accomodation and this needs to be sorted sooner rather than later.

If travelling is involved I might be able to collect a couple of people on the way depending on where we meet. Some of you are quite local to me and it seems silly for all to travel independant when we can share my car and possibly other cars.

Can you pick me up on your way please? :D

3 places left in my car (unless you wanna go in the boot then there can be one more lol)

OH - just had a thought! I can always borrow a works van or lorry! We have a 7.5 tonne lorry that would fit a whole forum in the back! :D

I know where I can get my hands on a cement mixer. That should hold at least 25.

Hey put it in the calendar and we can slap it all day long!

Just wondering...

What is the longest anyone has to drive anywhere in England to meet up, obviously at a place designated for the shortest commute in comparison to all who desire to get together?

It takes about 6 hours (or 5 if I am driving :-3 :driving: ) to the Midlands...
It would probably take us that long too. Maybe longer if we saw something cool along the way!
