In my ever imposing nosiness and annoying curiousness I have a few comments

1) Godiva Girl ... nice to see you back, either I have been blind or you have just recently returned again. hope all is well.

2) Have Cassi, Der W and Suresh gone missing in action? Or am I missing the boat. I guess if someone knows they are well and ok, then that is good enough for me, but their absence has not gone un-noticed. You are missed :)

I will be missing from the 6th of April until about the 20th, as I will be basking in the warm waters and sunshine of Phuket Island, Thailand. No laptop connections available. I only mention this because as one of the older farts, I didn't want anyone to think I croaked.

:-4 I LOVE YOU GALS. Minks, Baby Rider, A Karanina, and especially Lady Cop who has been holding my hand, and listening to me whine.

For the record, I am a parapelegic with a late onset, severe spinal problem. 3 weeks ago, while transfering to my wheelchair, I fell. In addition to the bruises and abrasions, I wrenched my back. While not in itself painful, the stiffness seriously effects my movements, most irritating is that extending my arms to type, will bring about spasms ranging from annoying, to full body contortions that are dangerous to me, and anything near me.

The flip side is that the meds to control this make me drowsey, and stupider than usual.:yh_cry

Enough whineing, but I assure you that my MIA status is totally involuntary, and I'm working to change it.

In the meantime, the caring, and concern of these ladies, have been enormous comfort, and bright spots during a dark and depressing time. :-6

It is not whining if the following occurs:

1) You are the one doing the whining. Whining only applies to others. We simply....express.

2) You have an actual reason for being...expressive. And you do, bless your heart.

3) Your friends encourage you to express yourself.

You've got all 3 going on, so no more apologies! I love you, we all do, and are sending prayers for your quick recovery.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Yikes! Back problems are the worst! You have my sympathies, DW.

Well....your body may not work so well, but your mind is powerful, clear, and insightful. I,too, missed your posting. Take care and it's good to know that you will be around. :o

At least I won't be asking 'what if' after my next 13 bad relationships. :-6

I think I've had it with adventure for the next week. Okay. Maybe just for the next 24 hrs.

Hello all!

I'm still here! :-6 I've just been adjusting to wierd hospital hours and finding my life has gotten really busy lately! We're getting our gear all together for an amazing two-week camping foray into the wilds of Wales in July! I cant wait! I'm so excited about this I can barely stand it! :-4 Since the south east of England is in bloom and it's getting warm....we've been going outside to play! And I've also been catching up on some incredible ps2 gameplay! Unfortunately with all that is going on, it's been absolute AGES since I've turned on the 'ol 'puter! Since even my mother is complaining, I guess I better turn it on a bit more than I have been! I hope I didnt cause any undue worry. :yh_flower

But no worries mates......all is well, The Raven is just out adventuring and on walkabout! :yh_bigsmi

Hey everyone :) I'm here almost every day ~ I just don't have a lot to say lately...weird, huh? LOL

Honestly, work is my biggest time-stealer right now. I keep thinking it will slow down, but then I get my desk re-loaded with projects, deadlines, and stuff. I spend a lot of time doing "stuff", whatever that is. All I know is we are STILL working 6- and 7-day weeks. wahhhhhhhhh!! I like work, but not that much! :D

I've even been thinking about taking a long break from school because I feel overwhelmed. I've been going to school for 9 years. I'm burning out.

Other than that, everything is great. My son is slowly getting ready to go to boot camp. He's been putting in drill weekends, and he loves it. He's now asking about Ranger training and other mom-worrying type stuff. But dang, I'm so proud of him!!

The boyfriend is a gift from heaven, too. He spoils me rotten, which I deserve, of course! (hair toss) He sends roses to work, packs my lunch every day, does my laundry, etc etc, and as I brag about him to my girlfriends, the men at work complain that he makes them look bad. Yeah...so?! Get on the ball, men! LOL

That's my big update, and now I'm off to do homework. Argh!
