What's shakin', homies?

Post by bagels »

Hey dudes and dudettes,

I'm not so new, as I created this account a while ago but never actually posted. I hope to become a regularly posting member.

Not much about me to say, I'm a boring and average type of person who should be having a life instead of posting on the internet. :)

In a nutshell, I'm a grammar nazi who enjoys long walks (no, not trying to make a joke), James Bond books, going out and socializing every so often (bonus for intellectually stimulating activities), a bit of gardening in the summer... and did I mention I spend way too much time on the internet? I really hope to remedy this last point in the near future (any tips? come on, I'm desperate here, this stuff is like crack to me :-5 )

But the most important thing you should know about me is that I never take myself too seriously. Especially not on the internet, and especially not in discussions involving watermelons. :p

So. Whas goin' down in this internet, guys? :D

So, what kind of bagel are you? :)

Hi bagels!

Welcome to the garden!

How are you? .........Sorry koan:)
The poolhall's a great equalizer. In the poolhall, nobody cares how old you are, how young you are, what color your skin is or how much money you've got in your pocket... It's about how you move. I remember this kid once who could move around a pool table like nobody had ever seen. Hour after hour, rack after rack, his shots just went in. The cue was part of his arm and the balls had eyes. And the thing that made him so good was... He thought he could never miss. I know, 'cause that kid was me.

Well, I didn't really lurk much, just kind of made the account and never got around to posting. Can you imagine someone actually lurking all that time? I'd probably know all of you better than you know yourselves by now. :p

Well, I'll have to say a whole-wheat bagel with smoked salmon, cream cheese and whatever else makes it even more delicious. Actually, Bagels was my cat's name, heh.

I'll have that too. Thank you, please drive through ;)

G'day from Australia and welcome!!!

As fer what's shakin. I'm tossing up between the wind in the barley, and the sea breeze in the gum tree outside my window. Another nice summer day in Sydney. Of course the city itself may not still be standing. Big Robbie Williams concert here last night. Grin.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Don't worry, I won't do anything inappropriate to you... :sneaky:

I'll be honest here. I have no idea what cricket commandos are, HEH.

I translate between French and English, and can also do Romanian.
