Going to Disney World next year...unless things change

Post by Marie5656 »

Kim, I and a couple of other friends are considering, seriously, a trip to Disney World next year. Would not be till this time next year, but we have just started discussing it today.

As I would be needed to help Kim with her personal needs, etc..I found out I can submit a time sheet for my time there. I would have to pay my own way for the trip...but I could still collect my pay. One of the friends has already offered to back me up in helping Kim, so it is not all on me the entire time, so I can have a break each day.

Can't say I have ever been to Disneyland, despite always wanting to go there. Been to Universal Studios though and that was fantastic.

I'm sure you will be able to work all the details out Marie, and have a great time next year if you go!

M, do whatever you have to do to be able to get to go! DW is the best place on earth to have a wonderful time! It's awsome, majestic, breathtaking, magical, all at the same time! If you do get to go, consider putting "It's A Small World" on you list of rides to go on. It's one of my favoriates! Hope things work out for you! Best Wishes! :)

Inquiring minds really want to know:

How old is Sleeping Beauty, really?:D :wah: :p Do they wear clothes under those hairy costumes? Who's inside the Mickey Mouse Costume, boy or girl?

it's funny being "backstage" you'd see the characters walking around holding the head in their hands or carrying it in a large garbage bag! :lips: :wah:

The last time i went to disney world parks with my daughter was gay/lesbian pride week. it was very interesting. they all wore red t-shirts. every straight man in the part who showed up in red immediately went and bought another color. lol. i laughed at the whole thing.

That would have been funny. All the Southern Baptists have a fit over that one.

hate too put sunshine in your day there, but If you are a parent YOU are Santa, easter bunny, tooth fairy and the boogy man.

It's one of the wonders of the world, you are a child and you find out these things are not real, then you become a parent and you discover that they are real after all.You just have too believe.

As for Disney land, sea world, epcot, and MGM.Bring lots of money, It's worth every penny.

Magic pure magic.

I posted a message about my trip on the chinchilla website. They did mention that she will probably sulk and pout a bit when I return...for abandoning her and all.

I understand completely. :)

I have to board Buster later this afternoon, as we are leaving for Florida very early tomorrow morning. It's *killing* me to have to take him someplace and drop him off there and go home without him.

I'm such a big baby :-1
