I think there has been more than one gardener in this garden that has pollenated a flower they had no business tending to. I think zinky is admitting to a moment of human weakness and is truly remorseful for the consequences of his actions. It takes a man to stand up and take his medicine.

I know this may sound harsh or even a little rude, but does anyone else find it tacky that this little situation has been brought to the attention of the entire group? Dont you find it the least bit disturbing that the lady in this situation PM'd some members about it while zinky made his plea in public? Its almost like they are trying to gain allies in case this thing snowballs and gets uglier. JUST MY OPINION, I like zinks, I always have enjoyed his posts. But I do find this kind of tacky and in poor taste, sorry zinster.

i think that's what people in groups do...that's not to say that it's right but isn't it a fairly common way of doing things...

I personally would say that the lady in question by PMing some, or more, people is being rather underhanded in that the guy in question can't defend himself. So the guy in question is open to the whole group in order to defend himself or at least to try to explain and I admire that.

I looked everywhere to find the side of the lady in question and it was not there and now I know it was hidden in PMs. Do you really think that is nice?

C'mon, we all do that!

How many friends here does she need to "talk to" about it? Im not trying to take sides or point the finger at either one and say "its your fault". I dont pretend to know what happen, frankly ALL I know is what I have picked up from these threads. I just thinks its tacky for the lady to send out PM's about a personal mess concerning a member and equally as tacky for the male member to post it publicly. THats all I'm saying. So since I said my piece, thats all I have to say and I will go eat my lasagna now.:D

True Pinky

but being as nobody but close friends seem to know the lady and no names were mentioned publicly, what's the problem. I couldn't even find out who the lady is.

ISTR that Zinky anounced his intentions publicly beforehand.

As several other people have said, what is between them is between them. It is sad that it has happened, for both of them, but I hope that it does not drive either of them out of the Garden.

Well that makes you number 4 that it seems she told. Im not completely sure, however, because Im just speculating the amount. I only guessed how many from the tone of some of the replies on this thread and one other.

For the record, I dont see anything wrong with telling *a* friend about your problem.

I still think this whole thing is a bit tacky and offensive, but you guys dont care so no need to make an issue out of it. I feel like IM reading about Reese and Ryan and Britney and Kevin in the tabloids.

it left a sour taste in my mouth. made me feel worse. and doesn't speak much for my character.

all i can do is publicaly apologize for my part in it, apologize to zinky and move on.

i am sorry for my part in this. i am sorry for bringing this to the forum.

i am sorry for hurting you zinky.

nobody is perfect. we all have problems. we all make mistakes.

now, please, please, everybody let this go. there has been enough pain thrown around for us all.
