Geesh. She never heard of divorce?
Makes the Bobbit thing seem like nothing. All his wife did was cut off his willy.
I may have to keep an eye glued on this one too.

MOTTO TO LIVE BY:
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming.

These days nothing...
This sort of stuff happens all the time where I live...
I've said this before, but about two houses down from where I used to live, some guy set another guy on fire...While he was still alive. Crazy.

I can't get to the story. I might be missing facts but if she just killed the guy out of rage of betrayal, I could understand that. But cutting him up takes too much thought. Hard to excuse that on passion.

I think she probably cut him up and scattered him across the highway as a means to not get caught...

So she did it. What are the definitions of "first" and "second" degree murder?

What are the definitions of "first" and "second" degree murder?first has several elements including premeditation. it is also punishable by death or life without parole....people often will plea to second if the DA will approve, it does not have the same elements as first, and they can do as little as 20 years.

Ah - so this lady must have snapped at an instant (hence the "pleading guilty to
one count of second-degree murder for killing Donald Larry Gash, just before jury
selection was to begin in her murder trial"), and consequently bludgeoned
Mr. Gash to death, then cut his carcass up, scattering bits of it from time to time
along the Blue Ridge Parkway, and putting his torso in a plastic container - all the while reflecting on her marital issues (gone now!), her previous convictions, her
teeth, looks, "sexual dysfunction", etc., and the wonders of "Life Insurance".
Is that the time? I really *must* get to bed!
