So I'd imagine no one will want it back. Jim can simply pay it forward , when and if he is able and finds someone he 'wishes' he could help. And if he does it without expecting a thank you or a payback, he can consider himself square with most everyone here, I would imagine...

Jimbo how long before your daughter turns 18?? Be very careful about transporting a minor from one country to another without out full consent of the mother. You may run into a problem there just get the information straight first. If she can fly over with her boyfriend for a holiday excellent. Just make sure it is legal or there could be legal issues you wouldn't want to deal with.:-5

Here's a list of all hospitals in Conneticut, if you have Skype it's only 1p per minute to call.
