Why is it I could see this on a tribal person but it just looks plain weird on these guys?

Those people really do scare me! I certainly wouldn't want to meet the first guy in a dark alley that's for sure!

If you asked these people, they would say it's all about self-expression.

Looks like a form of torture to me

tis a rather freaky culture believe me.... I have met a few here and there when I have gone to the tattoo fest's we have here every year....

almost all of them are quite nice people. It is a culture thing indeed...the more outrageous the better seems to be their motto.

Imagine what they will look like in their coffins

Yep, I think I would agree with that statement. I also believe that it is a way of getting yourself noticed, a sort of non verbal shout of "look at me!!" :)

Well that's a co-incidence. Just seen the ear hoop pix and only 2 hours ago, I saw a guy that had them in my local chip shop. I'd never seen them before, mind you, I lead a sheltered life. I reckon the internal diameter was about 1¼" (thats 31.75mm to us Europeans). Either way, it wasn't quite enough for me to check out which was the biggest piece of Haddock at 3 paces

Image is everything isn't it?

To Each His Own, To Each His Own!!!
The poolhall's a great equalizer. In the poolhall, nobody cares how old you are, how young you are, what color your skin is or how much money you've got in your pocket... It's about how you move. I remember this kid once who could move around a pool table like nobody had ever seen. Hour after hour, rack after rack, his shots just went in. The cue was part of his arm and the balls had eyes. And the thing that made him so good was... He thought he could never miss. I know, 'cause that kid was me.

These people don't scare me at all. To be honest, some of the most outrageous looking people that I have met in my life were often the most kind hearted and interesting. It's the 'normal' looking screw ups in suits that you really need to worry about, the people who don't want people to look at them.:)

I was standing in line at a post office behind a talll athletic female who looked good from the back. I did notice tattos emergingg from the top of her neckline. But when she turned around to ask me a question, I was shocked. She had metal all over her face. in her eyebrows and in her lips and nose. I had to look away. She asked me to hold her place so she could buy an envelope. I dont know why anyone wants to do that to themselves.

I once say a picture of a totally naked woman but I didn't know she was naked. I thought she had a dark paisley body suit on. Turns out that her entire body was tattooed:D

I think that most of these young people who pierce their bodies with all sort of odd things.....I think they eventually remove them as they get older.....something like that:-3
