Schooling results in matriculation. Education is a process that changes the learner.

I think its a good report, shame its about 10 years too late, its also too optimisitic. Still at least someone outside the scientific community realizes that the climate is going to hell in a handbasket, whether anything will be actually done or if its possible to stop what is happening remains to be seen. In a word, depressing.

Interestimng the emphasis on the economic impact. Might make some of the sceptics think beyond the immediate bottom line.

It's a MUST read for anyone who cares about their future....it is a bit lengthy though.
Heavyweight ????? I think I'll ignore that remark !

It seems to be having a good effect here in Australia. Global Warming is right on the table where it needs to be.
(Cos Aus is the biggest per-capita GHG emitter in the world.)
Johnny Howard is having a slightly difficult time over it, and we may get some action.

Sorry for the overtly politically partisan tone (I was going to say 'that's so unlike me' but that would ba an outright lie ).
You don't have to be partisan to not like Howard. You only need a brain and a heart.

Yes, to our shame, us and the good ol' US of A will be the big red blotches on the map.
We will also lock up refugees including children in concentration camp style prisons while we process their applications (can be years if there's an appeal).
We are also taking oil from the Timor Leste (One of the poorest countries in the world) side of the line halfway between the two countries. Timor raised it with the International Court of Justice, and we withdrew from the International Court of Justice for decisions regarding maritime boundaries.
Advance Australia Fair!
