Hello from Texas

Post by Spinner »

A real quick post...not much to say about myself.

Married, then divorced, 3 kids...grown & gone.

Have 3 cats, 1 dog

Have had birds, a raccoon, a coyote pup,a snake (boa), sugar gliders

Lived all over the US, active in the late 60's (I skipped classes in high school)

Not a Democrat or Republican. I am a "Constitutionalist"

I am a Christian although not a legalistic one. I have a lot of "out of the box" beliefs.

Never smoked, don't drink, don't hang in bars...do go to the movies, like to travel, enjoy digital photography, history, libraries, politics, use to have my own Sportster until it was stolen in 1995, like fishing, camping...no hunting although I have owned guns in the past, I don't have any now. Simply a $$ thing.

So...that's about it.

Hi, Spinner. Welcome, and thanks for the introduction.

You have Sugar gliders? They are so cute. I have a spoiled rotton chinchilla.

umm...no. Not much to them. They are even smaller than chins. And Trixie weighs less than two pounds.

Welcome Spinner, a few inquiries and then your on your way. Just relax and this will be over in a few minutes.

1. You mentioned owning sugar gliders. This is fact, its right there in your introduction. How many, what did you use them for ? I might note that in communist China sugar gliders are widely used as methods of torture. Have you ever been to communist China Spinner ?

Dont lie because I already know more than you might think I know, simply because I know stuff. Ask anyone, they'll tell you how much stuff I know. Im kind of known around here as the guy who knows stuff, in fact feel free to call me that. Now what about your communist Chinese sugar gliders ?

2. I hope your not trying to pass yourself off as one of the original Spinners. Because they're all here. Right now. Im looking at them. Can you explain this ? (This should be good)

3. Are you trying to blame someone here for stealing your Sportser ?

If so whom and what documentation can you provide to substantiate your claim ?

4. A constitutionalist eh ? Prove it ! Lots of people come in here claiming to be constipated and we dont go for that kind of thing around here !

LOL!!! I don't think there is enough meat on the little sugar glider's bones to justify the killing but...I guess they'd be OK...a lot of work for a little return...LOL!

I have friends in New Zealand. That is close to Australia..

Always thought I'd like to visit Australia but no longer...I like the option of owning guns too much for that.

Thanks for all the "Welcomes" y'all!!

Spinner, YOU may not be a person who drinks, but you'll notice some here who sound as if they "drink & post" routinely! Try to be understanding. :wah:

Welcome. I see by some of your posts that you're an historian. My family suffered terribly in the war/reconstruction and a few fled to Texas. Who knows? (My daughter, the geneologist, discovered recently that we're distantly related to the Bush family. Try to forgive me.)

Thanks LuLu. I use to drink..A LOT! (Owned a tavern) But I just don't any more..I figured out that I can't stand being around drunks and since most of my friends (at the time) drank to excess, I drank to "have fun with them". When I figured it all out, they weren't as much fun to me and I'm sure I wasn't ANY fun to them soooo.... I don't mind people who drink...I just don't like the over the cliff types. I might drink a glass of wine with dinner once in a while but..that is about it. The only way I could ever stand beer was with tomato juice (Red Beer)..Nope...I was a Crown Royal & 7-Up gal. But if I was suffering from a broken heart...it was straight Tequila baby! No salt, no lime...just give me a bottle of 1800 Cuervo Gold.:yh_hypno

What state did your family come from?

I forgive you....just don't vote for him or his father or the democrats either. (The democrats & republicans have been infiltrated by Nazi-like-minded politicians!)

Thanks Bez. The avatar is a small version of a digital photo I took while visiting outside flower vendors in Houston back in the summer.

I also used it on my blog. I think it is one of the better ones I have done. I'll send you a link to the pictures I have posted on Webshots if you want to see more.

Yes..I really like it here. Glad I stumbled on to this site.
