Hi Guys and Gals.....thank you SO much for your birthday wishes and kind words.

Tonight my kids are taking me out for a celebration meal to a 'surprise' place... and on Saturday my eldest son, his son Jake and myself are going to London to see a musical...~The Lion King~.

I've had LOADS of flowers, cards, texts and e-mails...it's just been the BEST birthday ever.

My brother and his wife told me that 60 is the new 40...I wish.

Well it was a wonderful day finished off by a lovely celebration meal with my kids and my grandchildren....biggest surprise was my brother and his wife being there and my DILs parents. I'm having lunch with my brother today before he goes back home.

My home is full of flowers and cards....I have never had a better birthday.. thanks so much for all your birthday wishes.

I've never had such a wonderful birthday covering 4 days.

Meal with my entire family (Thursday), cards, balloons,flowers delivered, a cake, a trip to London to see 'Lion King' at the Lyceum, a 'Flight' on the London Eye (the weather was beautiful so we could see for miles) and a meal at Covent Garden.

Today I'm going to Guilford to do a bit of shopping and tomorrow I start working a 3 day week for 3 months....my brother was right...60 is the new 40...life is good.
