Need advice and feedback

Post by Marie5656 »

Rick and I are both looking into part time work to get some extra cash over the winter. I will be taking on extra hours with Kim.

Rick is very much taken in (read suckered) by those work from home deals you see all over the television and internet. I keep expressing to him that I am very leary of any of these quick, easy money things. I think they are scams and worthless.

Knowing that I, myself, am already NOT ready to grab at these types of jobs, can you all give me some feedback..and arguments. Pro and con. You know..are there any that , as Rick believes, really do work? Or are we just throwing good money after bad, as I feel? I feel I am savy enough to be able to investigate and get good info..but what I need is solid info to help Rick see there have to be better ways.

My father is all about these get rich schemes, and work from your home thing, it got him a lot of unwanted phone calls and harassment to the point he never answers his phone now unless he recognizes the phone number of family. He has checked them all... I am certain...

Here is a good quote

If it sounds to good to be true, it is too good to be true.

Maybe one of the temporary jobs that come up during the holiday season, then Rick will know it is only for 2 months or less.

I'd run a country mile for any scheme that expected me to pay up front before I could start earning.

Hi there

Get rich quick just don’t make sense. If it was quick we all would be doing it, good news travels fast. There is no easy route to getting rich quick. It takes goals, planning, and effort. Don't get pulled into a get rich quick scheme if does not have a money back guarantee, if it is so good and works then the vendor will not be worried about offering such a guarantee. Pay for them on a credit card so if they do not live up to your expectation or it is a rip off, you can always get the credit card company involved in recovering the money.

It is much better if you come up with your own business plan and in my experience as a life coach have found these have more chance of success than some get rich quick scheme.

Enjoy the rest of the day

I have no experience with any of these systems but I did come across a site that may be worth looking into.

I'm unable to post an URL (not hit 15 posts) but search for "Amazon Mechanical Turk" in google and you'll find a reference or goto mturk-dot-com.

The story behind the mechanical turk is interesting too.

If your Stock Broker is so smart, then why are they still working for a living!?
