EVERMORE
In the barren wasteland of evermore,
unfathomable evil dwells.
Awaiting the unwary at the grottos door.
Signaled by seven bells.
The first bells sounds with a newborns cry,
as the mother lies bleeding and dead.
For hopelessly loving, not knowing why,
her lover bashes in her head.
The second bell sounds as a poor man dies.
Frozen and silent to his grave.
Alone in the street, his body lies.
Had pity sent a blanket to save.
The third bell sounds with a slamming door,
and heartbreak within its walls.
For the loving hearth that was there before,
the adulterous heart therefore apalls.
The fourth bell peals with a thiefs sly hand,
the wronged man crying with despair.
For all the dreams that had been planned,
were stolen in a moment then and there.
The fith bell sounds with an innocents tears,
and hate in a mothers face.
As more bruises the child bears,
for the mother, hell holds a special place.
The sixth bell rings with a judges gavel,
to prison the innocent will go.
A crime still to unravel,
only the guilty will know.
The final bell sounds with a protesting voice,
'What have I done?' does it say.
The victims this day do rejoice,
for your arrogance, in full you will pay.
For Evermore.

A bit morose, me thinks.
