I heard something last week on the radio show I listen to in the morning. The deejays had a list of things that people who stay together do, in order to stay together. At the top of the list was "have sex often". The other things on the list were; touch each other often and affection. And go on unplanned sporadic vacations together...........Let me see if I can remember the other things on the list.............oh yeah, sleep in the same bed. As opposed to a lot of couples who do not. And also............Oh I forget the others. But I thought it weird that the one thing I didn't hear on the list was "communication".

Oh BTW, my honey and I made love twice on Saturday. And I try to tell him I love him every day. :-4

Hi Saffron :)

I'm always bummed out when I hear that married couples sleep in separate beds. I made a vow to myself to *never* do that. I think the physical separation sends the wrong message.

I don't care if you are mad -- just roll over :guitarist

My x-husband and I slept in different rooms for almost our entire marriage, after we purchased our first home. Needless to say, it ended.

I saw my grandparents doing the same thing while I lived with them as a child. I thought all adults did this. :(

we still go away together and stuff. The plan is to buy something together when the kids are all grown up and gone...we were looking at prices for gritstones in the Derbyshire dales funnily enough, in the little villages around Matlock

Hi Boo :)

I think if you know what works for you, then go for it! This arrangement obviously works, as it sounds like you still like each other.

Is he helping to raise the children? :-6

I love cuddling in bed. Before and after sex. Sometimes I like to put my head at the foot of the bed where my feet should be, and my feet up where my head should be and pull the comforter over me, just to see what he does. It only takes about 30 seconds for him to say "why are you down there"? Then I move back up and lay my head next to his and say "I'm back". I can tell he doesn't know why I am doing that. But I do it just to see if he notices. And he does. :-4

that (for some reason) reminds me of a joke about a man who told his wife he was considering getting some "strange". She told him if he'd grow a few inches, he'd get it every night :lips:

Yes I've been thinking about it. But I need to move first, and get my own life more stable.

(oh btw, he isn't involved with that other woman any more.)

:) Hi there,

I hope no one has said this already but here goes.

Sex is not just about the act. It's the art of making love. Anyone can have sex, not everyone can make love. Both people should be in harmony with one another. When I show my hubby how I love him it can be by a simple touch.

Making love should satisfy both parties not just one. Touching and kissing are great ways of getting to know one another, the rest should flow naturally.

:)
