Well folks, we've been asked whether we believe in God, the devil, UFO's and life on other planets...Here's the next logical subject: Do you believe in ghosts? Spirits? The restless "undead"? People being caught between this world and the world beyond...whatever that might be? Have you ever seen one? Talked to one? Had anything unexplainable happen to you?

Yes.Yes.YES.Yes.YES.YES.Unexplainable would depend upon your meaning, "unexplained".Guess I can sortof understand the utter silence on this topic.Who among us really wants to share beliefs in thing You cannot provide Tangible evidence for.Who wants to be labeled.

 I think I would have to see a ghost before I could believe in them. I believe that other people truly believe they have seen ghosts. Who knows.

i didn't use to, but now i'm not so sure.

a few months ago i was staying with my very good friends Ben&Nicki. they have a dog, LuLu. great big cuddly Lab. the guest room is in the basement where they kennel LuLu up for the night. anyways....

i was sound asleep and a big ass dog jumps into the bed, bouncing all around. Chewing at the sheets and actually licked my face.

I swatted at LuLu told her to get down and "kennel up" the phrase used to get her to go to bed.

she jumped down and i heard her nails click-clack on the linoleum floor toward her bed.

I rolled over and looked at the clock and it was 3am. WTF??

Lulu went to bed an hour ago, and she can't unlock her kennel.

so i get up walk over to where Lulu is and she's sitting in her kennel looking at me. Like i was the one that woke her up.

i asked B&N the next morning if either had let Lulu out when they went for a smoke. neither one got up during the night.

I told them about the "incident" and they said they already knew about the Ghost dog. they were going to tell me, but they didn't think i would believe them so they let me find out for myself.

The sheets were all tossed around and my face was freaking WET from dog drool. messed up, man.

Someone I'd known well, someone dead years before, someone in bright daylight about half a mile from here. It's left me slightly puzzled. I'd put it down to mistaken identity save for the coincidence that it was the obvious place for her to have been and that it wasn't a matter of mere resemblance, it was a matter of exact similarity coupled with a style of dress perhaps seventy years out of date. The incident suggests to me that either my understanding of reality is very wrong or, less likely, I'm unexpectedly talented at visual hallucination.
