Well just thought I'd let ya'll in on what's going on in my world. It'll last about a month or two, then it's straight into cotton harvest. So when you put on your underwear or jeans think of farming families out there.

Yep it's that time of year when the big green monsters, well ok some are red, but they aren't real farmers. ok just kidding. Anyways it's that time for corn to be harvested and the field mice to invade your house. I love when harvest starts, it means fall is here and ol man winter is not to far behind. Dave's helping out one of the farmers he works for with harvest this year, so he feels at home on the combine. However I do not have to take meals to field, and I'm actually missing it. Before I griped bout having to make sandwhiches or a meal to feed 6 men. But I actually miss it.

You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted, then used against you.

I can sell you 3' rattlesnakes and they will put the mice on the raod to another house. They are cheaper by the dozen. Close that north door.
It is cooler every morining down here. If it gets any cooler, I may start wearing socks and underware again.

Thanks, but no thanks JB. I'll just stick to my field mice. maybe my cats will get motivated to do some hunting or something.

I live just down the road from a grain elevator (where my dad worked for many years), where all the corn eventually ends up
and this time of year is one I love dearly. Autumn has arrived :-6
The farmer's life is an interesting one, and when my dad worked on the cotton fields after his retirement (he couldn't stand "tinkering" around at home LOL), I used to go and bug the men during the day. Some good memories there

I suppose then if I were sitting here in my underware drinking a glass of wine I should be doubly thankful. :p
