We also had great neighbours who were thoughtful, kind & friendly.
Unfortunately they decided to retire and move to a bungalow as the stairs were becoming too much for the husband. They sold the house to the manager of a local football club. God knows why he didn't buy a bigger house, he could certainly have afforded it! I can only assume it's because her sister lives down the road and they're a close family.
Anyway, they started off by ripping all the inside of the house up. They were banging and hammering from 7am until 11pm! I asked them to be quieter in the morning as hubby works from 9pm to 7am then comes home to sleep. They ignored me.
When England was in the World Cup he had ALL his mates around, including his entire football team. The MASSIVE TV was up FULL BLAST and even that was drowned out by their cheers or swearing! My God, you should have heard the language! It was disgusting! I mean, I swear but this was waaaaayyyyy more disgusting than anything I say - or want the kids to hear!
This bloke is obviously rolling in money but SO rude and obnoxious! He drives like a maniac and nearly killed some kids on their bikes this morning! :-5
Now they have just sent me some plans, via the Council, to say they want to add 5 rooms plus a massive conservatory onto their house! It means they'll block my daughter's view and give her 5 feet of brick wall to look at instead!
When they were hammering and banging I took them a welcome card and a bottle of wine to ask them to quieten it down a little - but it didn't really work!
I know they're going to be extremely unhappy when I put in an objection to their extension! And, to be honest, I don't know that I can cope with them living next door any longer. So my solution will be to ask the landlord to rehouse us somewhere else - and hope somewhere else is available soon!
Rap, that's awful. They sound like neighbours from hell and back again.
Before you move, keep a record of their anti-social, behaviour. Sneaky photos would also help, especially with audio or film with audio. Then report them. No one here needs to put up with that kind of behaviour any more.
