We've laughed and we've argued, but FG has never felt so solemn as it has today.

Ain't that the truth!!! It's so good to hear that Criss is making such good progress. And has found a therapist who treats her like an adult human. She'll be back in our midst soon, I feel it, kicking a$$. That's going to be so good. Grin.
I went into my local cathedral yesterday and it was full of flowers, some kind of spring celebration probably. Lit a candle. Said some prayers for Cat, and also for Criss - and for all the good people of ForumGarden. We're a very real family.

Yesterday was an amazing day for Criss. She participated in all her therapies. She did a lot of arm exercises and walking. She had a super session with a new speech therapist. I really like this lady! She talked to Criss and asked her what she likes to do and what books she likes to read and really got Criss talking. The others just came in and sort of grilled her. What's the day/date/season. What's the name of the building she's in. So clinical. Yesterday, this new therapist just sat down and talked to her and got her to tell about the G-Dog she trained and was interested and friendly. And she didn't talk so loud, just in a normal tone of voice. Why is it that so many people think if you're in the hospital you can't hear??? Anyway, I was very much encouraged after yesterday's sessions. Oh! And for the first time in four weeks she ASKED FOR FOOD. That's a biggie. Practically the entire staff came by to see the half-empty tray and see for themselves that she really did eat. Hooray!
Gotta run - just wanted to share the good news with you. You've been there for all the bad and now let's share some good stuff!
BTW, Criss got a card from Val yesterday. I also got my own card from her. How nice of her to do that! And it got a few laughs.
Thanks to everyone around the world and around the Garden for keeping Criss and us in your thoughts and prayers. It means so much to all of us!Just wanted to bring this great news forward some so people won't have to search so hard.
Keep pushing, Criss!! :driving:

Hello, Nomad! Seems the best news was her wanting to eat! I think this really IS the end of the beginning, so to speak and the beginning of true recovery.
