How many... change a lightbulb?

Post by valerie »

The Question: "How Many Dogs Does It Take to Change A Light Bulb?"

1. Golden Retriever: The sun is shining, the day is young, we've got our whole lives ahead of us, and you're inside worrying about a stupid burned out bulb?

2. Border Collie: Just one. And then I'll replace any wiring that's not up to code.

3. Dachshund: You know I can't reach that stupid lamp!

4. Rottweiler: Make me.

5. Boxer: Who cares? I can still play with my squeaky toys in the dark.

6. Lab: Oh, me, me!!!!! Pleeeeeeeeeze let me change the light bulb! Can I?Can I? Huh? Huh? Huh? Can I? Pleeeeeeeeeze, please, please, please!

7. German Shepherd: I'll change it as soon as I've led these people from the dark, check to make sure I haven't missed any, and make just one more perimeter patrol to see that no one has tried to take advantage of the situation.

8. Jack Russell Terrier: I'll just pop it in while I'm bouncing off the walls and furniture.

9. Old English Sheep Dog: Light bulb? I'm sorry, but I don't see a light bulb?

10. Cocker Spaniel: Why change it? I can still pee on the carpet in the dark.

(Sorry, rachelg!!)

11. Chihuahua: Yo quiero Taco Bulb.

12. Pointer: I see it, there it is, there it is, right there.....

13. Greyhound: It isn't moving. Who cares?

14. Australian Shepherd: First, I'll put all the light bulbs in a little circle...

15. Poodle: I'll just blow in the Border Collie's ear and he'll do it. By the time he finishes rewiring the house, my nails will be dry.

Actually, the proper term for a lightbulb is a "globe". Does this make me an industry professional or an anal retentive? Maybe both.

Very funny post, as was the first one.

Good hijack, too. :wah:

How many network marketers does it take to change a light bulb?

No one really knows as they just keep recruiting until they find someone who will do it.

How Many Christians Does It Take to Change a Light Bulb?

*Charismatic:* Only 1 - Hands are already in the air.

*Pentecostal:* 10 - One to change the bulb, and nine to pray against the

spirit of darkness.

*Presbyterians:* None - Lights will go on and off at predestined times.

*Roman Catholic:* None - Candles only. (Of guaranteed origin of course.)

*Baptists:* At least 15 - One to change the light bulb, and three committees to approve the change and decide who brings the potato salad and fried chicken.

*Episcopalians:* 3 - One to call the electrician, one to mix the drinks, and one to talk about how much better the old one was.

*Mormons:* 5 - One man to change the bulb, and four wives to tell him how to do it.

*Unitarians:* We choose not to make a statement either in favor of or against the need for a light bulb. However, if in your own journey you have found that light bulbs work for you, you are invited to write a poem or compose a modern dance about your light bulb for the next Sunday service, in which we will explore a number of light bulb traditions, including incandescent, fluorescent, 3-way, long-life and tinted, all of which are equally valid paths to luminescence.

*Methodists:* Undetermined - Whether your light is bright, dull, or completely out, you are loved. You can be a light bulb, turnip bulb, or

tulip bulb. Bring a bulb of your choice to the Sunday lighting service and a covered dish to pass.

*Nazarene:* 6 - One woman to replace the bulb while five men review church lighting policy.

*Lutherans:* None - Lutherans don't believe in change.

*Amish:* What’s a light bulb?

feel free to come up with some light jokes for the rest. Actually I don't even know all the congregations/sects/denomoninations listed. I'm just a real Christian who believes that the Bible is God's word.

I'm ADD a bit myself so. . . . Some of you may have already guessed this:)
