Her mom tells her that no, he's not but that he's going to try... Criss looks at her mom and tells her again that Matt is on the phone so she has to wake up...

Hello all. Here is the deal. MamaRider gave me Floppies phone number and I was going to call today after spending the day with BabyRider. However, I did not save the phone number by mistake. You ALL have been so great to BR I decided to join for a second and give you an update so you do not have to wait until Monday. She is doing sooooooooooooo much better today. Her eye is significantly improved. She was very painful all over today due to lying flat for so long yesterday so they kept her medicated and comfie. This afternoon Josh came up and she was like a new woman. Smiling and talking and cracking jokes. She even ate some strawberries and said they tasted great. She still is not completely out of the woods but oh my gosh, so much progress since the procedure yesterday which was a very longgggggggggggg day. Floppie I am so sorry I didn't save the phone number because you have been so great in passing messages. Everyday I am there I tell BR about all the messages, beams, and candles dedicated to her. She always gets a little smile and says what great friends you are. I am sorry I don't know who wrote all the messages but someone asked if we could get the healing crystal to her which we did today. It is beautiful and Criss smiled and held it a while. It is in her room to aide in her recovery. Thanks to all of you for your support and love to Criss. It continues to help her on a daily basis. So I will turn the news back to Floppie. By the way, how did my name become AntiRider instead of AuntieRider?????

I haven't a clue how your name got to be AntiRider, but it looks like it's staying that way now.

Thanks for the update AR. This is great news. Glad that Criss is comfortable and doing well.

AuntieRider, you are just wonderful :-4 We so appreciate your joining the Garden for the purpose of updating us.

I know that both Pinkster and Snoozie sent healing crystals, so we've got double crystals going for Criss.

We are sending even more BEAMS to our friend BR and will continue to do so until she is all better.

And THAT'S what friends are for :-6

Edited for privacy issues only...

I just talked to MamaRider who is with Criss today. She is still sleeping alot which is what they want her to do. When meds are wearing off and she is more alert, she is lucid, makes connections as she should and is remembering a whole lot more than I think they think she is capable of. She is truly amazing. She is beginning to eat more which is great.

We probably will know more about further testing and intervention tomorrow. We will let you know.

Tell everyone to keep the beams, candles, etc going. It's real obvious Criss thinks the world of the group of people on forum. I know it is helping! Talk to you soon. Auntie

That's great news, Floppy. I can't wait to see her back on here.:-6

At least it sounds like the doctors are happy with the way the procedure went and are satisfied that recovery is ongoing.

Now, maybe, Criss can start to work her way back to full health.

May it be so.

Criss is being moved back to the rehab facility today. They will bring her back over on Friday which is when they plan to do the exploritory thing again. MamaRider is both confused that they are moving her and glad. Criss has lost a lot of muscle tone over the past 3 weeks, needs to get her streanght back.

The swelling in her eye has gone down somewhat. She's in pain from the broken bone in her neck when she is moving around... so managing the pain will be a big part of getting her moving and active.

Unless they find something major or something they missed on friday, the second ambulization procedure will be in 6 to eight weeks... I would assume so that time has passed for what they have just done to heal and give the littleones more time to heal themselves.

Once we get a positive 'she's moved' ,I will get room information for anyone interested.

hugs

diane

Have mercy! Thanks Diane. This is certainly turning into a long drawn out continual ordeal for Criss! (And her familie"s") Another exploritory on Friday, & then 6 to 8 weeks for ambulization procedure, that's overwhelming & seemingly never ending!

Sending a gazillion BEAMS for all the strength Criss & her Family needs to get them all through this! :-4 :-4 :-4

Humm sounds good her going to the REHAB unit, I'm a bit concerned about the broken bone in her neck.. is this a ruptured disc.. ??? or is this her clavical?? Floppy maybe you can answer that. I wonder why they haven't repaired it. I know I need to quit worrying so much.. :-4 I just don't want her to be in needless pain..:(

Yes it is your collarbone, often they let it heal on its own, or go in a do a repair job. If its the clavical I will breathe a little easier.. Thanks my friend I can now eat dinner, and watch the CHARGERS BEAT THE RAIDERS.. I hope..!!:D
why am i thinking i heard the word clavical early on... don't even know what it means unless that is the collarbone... i'm thinking that got broken...
