BRs mom asked me to do this..

Post by 911 »

Best to luck to BR for any procedure she may have to undertake, may she have all the strength necessary for this and rehab to come.

I'm praying that this will be the last major procedure she (and her family) will have to endure.

Riderfamily, please get some rest. I sure you're exhausted and you're gonna need your strenghth when BR is back to herself. Which I hope will be very soon.

Kisses

Well, the court appearance was a big fat bust. They continued it - which means the defendant's lawyer asked for more time, and was granted it. The reason behind that is that there is a new defense attorney on the case.

This guy has several outstanding warrants (bench warrants, which usually means that he didn't show for some court appearance he'd been required to be at), as well as several pending cases. This is not some misguided kid who made one mistake - this is a habitual offender who simply has no regard for the law. His parents were there, and the impression I got from them and some things the defense attorney said was that they have the means to spring him, and are simply not going to do so. Tough love at its toughest, I'd imagine. So, good for them. They had the sensitivity to stay away from us, and expressed their regret through the prosecuting attorney.

So, a couple more weeks at least before anything will happen on the legal front. I'll update as I know more.

Prayers and beams for BR for the procedure, and to guide her recovery.:-4

Well the wheels of Justice always turn slow damit.. :-5 :-5 Smart move by the parents. My question is did he have insurance, and is it being used to cover Criss medical expenses??? I sure hope so, hopefully the parents kept his insurance up.

My prayers are with BR and her pocedures, and all your wonderful family, take care and thanks for the updates, I check here every 30 minutes all day long to hear what has happened each day..:D

BR is just afraid and who could blame her, she doesn't know what is going on and feels control of her life is not hers at the moment.:-1 She will be fine and and wonder why she frought it so hard this time tomorrow. ;) I hope they didn't have to cut her hair that would **** me off as well..

This is delicate surgery for sure and she has one of the best teams in the country working on her and that is excellent.

BR we love you sweetie and this will be over soon and you can be start your physical rehab..

hugs, and kisses to you sweetie, and your wonderful family..

After refusing to do the procedure yesterday because Criss said no, jumping through hoops and finally having to contact matt to give his consent for this and any other medical procedure that her mother deems to be needed.. they rescheduled for today..

Criss was to be sedated and moved over this morning. She was. She was ready to get this over so that she could go home... she told the doctor this. He refused to do the procedure because she had been sedated and he could not take a consent while she was under sedation..

That's right folks, orders her presedated and then says he can't accept her consent because she is sedated..:-5 Don't forget now, that he refused to do it yesterday bacause she passed his lucidity test...even though she was sedated then too~~

Suffice it to say, the family has had words with the hospital. This doctor has been replaced by one of the top specialist and the first part of the procedure will be done at 9 am tomorrow. It is expected to take about three hours and basically they are going in to determine exactly what is going on... through the vein with cameras...

Whatever they decide to do, they have scheduled for 1pm friday, the room is booked. they will only go for 8 or 9 hours and if they haven't been successful, will begin again on Saturday morning..

I can hear the frustration in her moms voice. :(

Bottom line here... start up the Criss thoughts again in the morning..

and a couple of extra ones for MamaRider would be great!

My Gawd!!! Well perhaps this will prove to be a good reason for something, some kind of fate thing, maybe this past Dr just isn't the guy for our Criss.

Dammed the frustration for all her family....

OMG!! If I was Mama, there would be bodies on the floor by now!

I won't be home this weekend - I leave Friday afternoon so I won't be able to check on things until Sunday afternoon.

You can bet that Criss will continue to be in my prayers as she has been since this first happened.

I cannot even begin to imagine what BR's family are going through at the moment - they must feel like they've been wrung out with the wet dishrag.

My heart goes out to them - and my strength to BR to help her through the operations.

Three hours for the exploritory sounds bad enough but 8 hours + for the main operation is horrific and BR will need all the strength she can get.

May the doctor's skill be true and sufficient for the task at hand.

Just awful for BR and the Rider Families.. I believer all things happen for a reason, and this Doctor being off her case works for me. This is extremely delicate and dangerous surgery, and the best should do it and I'm glad to hear the best will be doing it.

Yes BR is still in a fight for her life all, she has a very long road ahead, but once this procedure is out of the way her physical therapy can begin.. She can't do anything right now for fear this vessel will burst.

YES as Bryn Mwar said now is the time to light that extra candle, pray that extra prayer and send millions of our beams to BR and her very special family.:-4

This is a beautiful site to light a candle for anybody but special for BR. I've never figured out how to find my candle that I lit.
