10 Goals for the next 10 years

Post by Marie5656 »

Can you come up with 10 (more or less) realistic goals for the next 10 years? Things you would really like to do, or accomplish. I say realistic, something other than win the lottery, or have sex with my favorite celebrity:) . C'mon. Give it a thought. Don't all have to "serious" stuff...just do-able. Something you can really work towards if you set you mind to it.

Here are some of mine:

I would like to have the time to read all the books on my bookshelf.

I would like to be retired comfortably by the end of this 10 year period.

I would like to do whatever possible to become healthier and more fit.

I'd like to attain a goal of walking at least 2 miles a day.

I would like to visit the Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio

I'd like us to have that cottage by the lake we have dreamt of.

Wha an interesting subject!:)

I like a good thought provoking thread, ya know, something that makes you think about yourself. Here are my ten:

Obtain my car driving licencse - I have a bike licencse, but as I have a family now, a car is what is needed.

Try and advance myself as far as possible in my job.

Keep myself debt free after three years time.

Ensure Archie gets the best start possible in his basic education

Try to move to a better house / location.

Give my wife every possible type of support for furthering herself - Why should she now have to "stay at home and look after the kids" ?

Get fit - I wan't to be fit and have no health issues by the time i am 45.

Visit the USA. Any offers for putting me up / showing me round? :wah:

I wan't me bike back!!!!:-1

Make sure Archie and Carrie-Anne remain comfortable and happy.:)There ya go, there's my ten!!

You and your wife are more than welcome here. We would enjoy having you. Lots to see and do here in Rochester, also.

I don't have 10 goals for the next ten years just 2:

1. Make it to retirement (6 years away).

2. Enjoy every minute of my retirement. :D

Yep pretty much sums it up for me.
ALOHA!!

MOTTO TO LIVE BY:

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming.

WOO HOO!!, what a ride!!!"

I hope you do make it to Australia some day, Sunny!!

For goals - rather than be specific, it is my intention to do my best to live every single day I have left on this earth as fully as I can.
