Hello everyone...I'm Elouise, recently transplanted to a hot southern state.

I'm looking for a very good friend of mine who referred me to this site.

However, I don't see him.

Anyways..does this site have anything to do with gardens?

I hope your hospitality extends to newcomers in a way with kindness and pride.

Please make me proud to call you all my newbie friends.

Oh..and one more thing. Is this a Gynocracy? Where are all the men???!

I am currently working on quite a few quilts as well as seasonal & holiday decorations and placemats sets for my family , friends and extended families.My crazy ex threw away ALL of my belongings when he divorced me except my Janoe Memorycraft 9000.He tried to kill it and I thought he did.I lugged it around the last several years.Now it is repaired and I am busy sewing again!

Anyway, why does she want to stay here? She came in, not as a newbie, but with a set incendiary agenda. That's been achieved, at the expense of one of the nicest people here who at very worst made a most understandable mistake - so what's she still here for?

Lots of others came in too, again no kind of newbies, but in a gang. I don't know what the home forum is like. Maybe it's awful and they all really do want to move to here. Fine. Usually new posters arrive with a degree of courtesy at first, like coming into someone else's house for the first time. You don't begin as if you own the place flinging your weight around. You proceed slowly. We've always welcomed new people of good will. From what I've seen of most of "the gang", they seem nice. BUT linking themselves to this other one, they're not doing themselves any favours. I hope they are all being treated well here. Sure, many of them have become supporting members, and that's a positive beginning. Trust and friendship may come in time.
