Thank you Floppy.:)

Well, I do not know what to think about that, except it is not a good idea. Random selection of contestants makes more sense. But then, I never watch that show anyway, so I will let those who do comment. (I think that show and most reality TV is very boring)

Nope, not a good idea at all! What are they thinking? This is just going to stir the pot, nothing good can come of it.

I have not watched the show since the first season. I heard this on the radio this morning and could not believe CBS would even consider it. What are they thinking? I cannot believe the players on the show would even agree to playing the gme this way.

I don't think that's such a good idea. I don't watch the show, but my parents do. I'll have to ask them what they think about this.

Allison, I've said that for a long time... that I would like to see them

someplace COLD but they would never do it, all those young women

covered up with PARKAS? Not gonna happen.

I read the article and I understand it's considered very un-PC.

Why?

If they divided up the games between the men and the women, it would be "battle of the sexes- ho ho!" But if they divide by ethnicity, it's a bad thing. Unthinkable.

Why? What if we stopped being PC and proudly acknowledged our different ethnicities instead of pretending that we're all the same? :-3

Red'--that's a good question. Maybe it'd be ok, in a world without the Jesse Jacksons, the Al Sharptons and the other "race card-carrying, professionally offended."

I am a huge Survivor fan. One of the few reality shows I watch.

It'll be OK. They won't stay split that way for long. Within a few weeks they'll have a merge. They always do and they have admitted it in an interview. But this time instead of merging into one group, they will probably go from four to two to one as the people get shipped off.

But I have also wondered why they don't go to cooler climates. I would love to see them ice fishing once in a while and it would make for better ratings seeing everyone huddled together trying to get warm off each other.

But Val is probably right, no girls in bikinis and no nudity is why they stay in the hot climates.

I think it will be an exciting show and the alliances will be even stronger this time. The fights will be wilder and they will show their true feeling when one of their own turns on the group and joins another. Sparks are gonna fly!
When choosing between two evils, I always like to take the one I've never tried before.
