How much is time worth?
Would you give up half of what you own for a pill that would permanently change you so that you only require 1 hour of sleep each day?
The word "change" sounds a little scary. In the question, the only change is the hours of sleep needed to be refreshed and healthy.

No. I like my down time. Not sure I would find enough to do to keep me occupied and interested for 23 hours a day.

I don't have much stuff to be concerned with. I'd prefer the productivity.

No I would not give half I own to just to only need 1 hours sleep. But I gladly would give half I owned, to be "30" years old again!

I love my down time too, I wouldn't want to be awake 23 hours a day by choice...LOL!

I don't have a lot of "posessions", so I couldn't really say yes if I really wanted to, besides, I like sleeping - being cosy, warm and feeling safe.

How much is time worth?
If you were about to be shot by firing squad, and the captain said, you have been reprived for exactly one year, come back here at 9am 365 days from now, how much would each day be worth?, or if he said you have 24 hours, how much would that be worth? Time is everything, unfortunatly that only becomes aparent when we run out of it.
All that said I like me sleep, so I'd rather keep it, its one of those human things that we do init, its like eating, life wouldn't be the same without it, I suspect that if they did develop a pill that kept us awake for 23 hours a day we'd do 16 hour days in work instead of 8 (supposedly, remember those days?) so it wouldn't be of much benefit to anyone, except the people who like to make lots of money at the expense of everything else.
