Whats The Worst Job You Ever Had

My first job was working in an orange juice factory, but I got canned because I couldn't concentrate.

Then I worked in the woods as a lumberjack, but I just couldn't hack it, so they gave me the axe.

After that I tried to be a tailor, but I just wasn't suited for it.

The job was only so-so anyhow.

Next I tried working in a muffler factory, but that was exhausting.

I wanted to be a barber, but I just couldn't cut it.

I attempted to be a deli worker, but any way I sliced it, I couldn't cut the mustard.

My best job was being a musician, but eventually I found I wasn't note worthy.

I studied a long time to become a doctor, but I didn't have any patience.

Next was a job in a shoe factory; I tried, but I just didn't fit in.

I became a professional fisherman, but discovered that I couldn't live on my net income.

I thought about becoming a witch, so I tried that for a spell.

I managed to get a good job working for a pool maintenance company, but the work was just too draining.

My last job was working at Starbucks, but I had to quit, because it was always the same old grind.

After many years of trying to find steady work, I finally got a job as a historian, until I realized there was no future in it.

I think the worst job I ever had was the summer I was 18 & I got a job cleaning motel rooms for a very large motel. You got an assignment of 15 rooms per day & a "senior maid" would follow you around & inspect your work. She would wipe her finger on the bottom of the bathtub to make sure there wasn't a trace of soap scum, across the top of the prints on the wall to make sure there wasn't any dust, etc.. It was also in the day of long shag carpeting. The last thing we did after finishing cleaning was to rake the freaking carpet with a leaf rake. I lasted there for less than 2 weeks.

haha!! Lizard Lips, I have the same story! My head maid wrote my name in the dust on the tv! My first day I picked cracker jacks out of the shag rug. Second week I found a gun in a nightstand. Found used tampons strewn everywhere in a room that was being shared by a man and woman. *gross man!* I lasted two weeks and they canned me. It was a blessing.

I've had so many crappy jobs but the one that sticks out was when I was 18 and worked in a wire tie factory. I'm not saying all factory workers are scum but in this factory it was so. This one girl had recently given birth and was still nursing her baby. She had on a tank top and no bra and was leaking. This scuzzy creepy guy who worked there was standing there gawking at her wet chest, practically drooling, the whole time she was talking to someone else. It gave me the skeeves. I got canned from there too but it wasn't my doing. That was a blessing too. :rolleyes:

When I was trying to make few extra $$ while at university, I took on the odd job here and there. The one I hated most was hotel maid. I could work around my school schedule and go in early am's. What can I say? Some people are absolutely disgusting and filthy. I learned never to be surprised by what you might find.
