It is reasuring that she is having periods of conciousness - even if only briefly, and it sounds as though she's in good hands but let her recover from this soon - please :-1

Geesh--I read the first page and then the garden acted all wonky and I couldn't read the rest. Finally I got to read it all!

Can you imagine what this is like for Bullet? Not to get to be with her, to see her for hisself? It's got to be killing him.:-1 BR is strong and she'll pull through this, no doubt in my mind. Let this be a lesson to those out there the next time you've been drinking and get behind the wheel. Don't freaken start the car.:-5

I'm sadden by the news of her injuries she will be in rehab for a very very long time. She is young so that is on her side. These are very serious injuries that can be healed with proper care, which she is getting. Thank your Lord our dear BR is lucky to be alive and we need her to recover completely..:-4 :-4 She endured enough at this point let her have some peace..:-1

I wonder if there is a possibility that they would let BULLET come to visit her, just thinking outside the box. Not sure what protocol is in these situations but maybe her family can solicit a visit..

OMG! This is dreadful news! Poor BR & Poor Bullet! :-1 :-1

My pooter melted down over the weekend and I finally get back online only to read such terrible news!

My heart goes out to both of them that such terrible things can happen to them and then they can't even be together to comfort each other!

You two are both in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sending all my love and hugs to you both and your families, especially to BR's son. May God hold you all in the palm of his hand and make things better for you all from now on.

No new news yet ? I couldnt sleep last night. I kept waking up thinking of this.

Life is fragile.

I keep thinking about all the hate everywhere, all the killing. If we only all had the opportunity to sit and talk, break bread and drink with eachother. Wouldnt it be different then ? If your enemy was in your home sharing a meal with you. Would he still be your enemy ? Would he feel differently ? Would he still want you dead ?

Nice sentiment. Part of the problem is that many of the enemy are "Terrorists", and they just kill to terrorize, they don't really care about anything else. They're not looking to get up close & personal, and wanting to get to know the infidels!

But it would be grand, if utopia, could be found by all!

Minks, I sent off a card for her to your address. It's on paper I bought in Africa...made of recycled elephant dung! I figure that'll give BR a giggle.

That report from her mom is very scary....I wish they'd make that drunk driver spend every day at her bedside in the hospital!

TUESDAY MORNING UPDATE ALL.. :-1 :-1
Thank you all who reponded to my e-mail. As of Monday, they have found out

that she, also, has a fractured skull, fractured neck an closed head injury,

they are keeping her heavily sedated so she can get alot of rest. As for

Matt, yes he does now know. I worked with Criss, an some of the girls and I

are trying to get a benefit going for her. I will let you know, the plans

and such when we get it all together. Anything that you can think of to

raise money to go towards Criss's needs would greatly be appreciated. Keep

the Prayers going, she needs all she can get. This is all in God's hands

right now, and I know he is with her always. If anyone needs to contact me,

my number is 810-627-9878, if I dont answer right away it is because I work

nights, and I dont get home till 4 or 4:30 in the morning, the best time to

get me is on my way to work, which would be 5:30 to 6:45.

She is in Mount Clemens General, in the ICU unit.

P.S.

Also, Matt and Criss's family could use some Prayers too, they are having a

difficult time now,

God Bless, Jesus Christ loves U
Mail sent to Criss's address will get to her as well. I will be checking it regularly (I'm BR's sister, for those who don't know - I think probably most do, now).

Thank you all for your love and support and prayers. Keep it coming, and between me and floppy we'll keep everyone up to speed.

FamilyRider (I love that :) ):

I love and respect our BR more and more each day. If anyone is strong enough to deal with this, it's certainly Criss! I know in my heart that she will prevail.

And, by the way, my hubby is a personal injury attorney in Massachusetts. She'd better get a good one in Michigan and sue this sorry person's ASS

I'm serious.

Criss, we're all pulling for you, babe.

We love you :-4

Cher'.... like you, after the first shock, I thought about how terribly expensive this is going to be (and over many years, I'm afraid.) If that #$%&* driver doesn't have insurance...we need to know NOW!

You know, things like this make you realize how quickly an accident happens and how quickly a life can end. I fixed my kids breakfast in bed this morning. They wanted to know why. I told them just because I love them.
