ok, had my talk with the Doc, and he assured me that I would be the person that the board would go with. Here's the "sticky part, there are 23 DVM's that own the hospital that I work for. It's kind of a CO-OP so that they don't all have to be on call, and if they have to call in a specialist, they don't have to give up any clinic hours. I know, it's complicated. But now that I have taken it to him, it becomes a topic for the board. Which means, I just got my co-worker fired. But on the up side, I am now going to be switching off third shifts on the weekend, so i can a social life, if I choose to.

Bottom line, my hospital stood up behind me. Even if I have a problem with a DVM (which I am SURE will never happen) I am assured of my job. This makes me feel very confident that I am doing MY job, and that animals in critaical need of our attention are getting that, our UNDIVIDED attention.

I thank all of you for letting me vent about this.

I LOVE MY JOB!!!!

CC so glad the Doc and the Board knows about this now, because I like Tater and OM don't have a good feeling about this guy.

In fact I get the creeps reading what you have posted. He is a loose cannon and could turn on you without warning. It happen more than you think. Never assume because you understand what your saying that he understands. He sounds on the edge to me and I would be careful as you go home and to work. Especially if this guy gets fired he may seek revenge and that can get ugly.

Someone that gets this envolved in a person without even knowing them is one toe watch out for. I would go so far as to file a report with the police. Remember it is your employers responsibility to provide a safe work environment for you. You shouldn't have to feel umcomfortable in the work place because of an Idiots hitting on you every night.. Just be safe and aware of what is going on around you..!! people snap all the time when someone rejects them.. be careful..

Well my co worker did indeed loose his job. SO far it's been pretty quiet. I did get one nasty e-mail from him, You tease, you w@#re, stupid little boy insults. And now nothing. I know he has already found another job at a nursing home, I almost feel sorry for him, I said almost! The Doc is walking me to my car every night and i call my neighbor before I get home if Billy's not there. I think every thing will calm down, I am very glad I don't live alone. Billy (my roomie) isn't a big guy, not much bigger than me really, but he's a man. Whatever, I hope this is the end of this story. Again, thank you for letting me spill my guts.

Oh, I have the weekend off. I need a date! Any takers??

He really has got a bad head problem, CC. Make sure you ignore all his messages. Don't be tempted to reply to them. But I should think he'll have enough to occupy him at a nursing home. Best to be safe though. Glad you don't have to put up with him at work now. Your bosses must really appreciate your contribution.:-6

And i am proud too say that I am a real momma's boy and she taught me how too treat them right.

Yup,to some one who has no idea what she has.But on the other hand I am not right,So I'm not the relatioship type,can't do it,can't undrstand it,learned too live with it.

It's really not so bad. It's a good feeling top be independant. It's also kind of a good feeling to know my options are open.

Like Tater, I was in a relationship where I was not appreciated, barely noticed actually.

now I get noticed all the time!
