Fastest way to text message?
What do you think? I ask because I had a sidekick forever that I just dropped in a glass of water about a month ago, and now I'm back to a regualar phone. I used to think that QWERTY keyboards were it, and that nothing was easier or faster, but now I've discovered predictive text and gotten good at it (I use T9, they have a tutorial to help with speed, here: www.textfast.t9.com).

Okay, here's my chance to ask. What's the point of phoning text messages? Why not voice mail?

Cheaper. Much cheaper. I have no land line. I have 200 minutes a month (ghetto voice plan). For $5 a month I get unlimited text messaging. That's why I'm gung ho about T9. If you don't text you probably aren't familiar with it, here's what wikipedia says: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T9_%28predictive_text%29
Most people, though, text because they are young, in high school, and in class. It's like the modern version of notewriting. I am not young, however. *sigh*
