It would have sounded much better if they just sued to get their dog back, but no, they had to throw in they wanted the profits from the appearance of the dog in the film.

I wonder how much effort was put into the original search of the original Kolby, by the alleged original owners????

After 2 years and a movie contract it just seems a little "fishy"
