Well, guys. I haven't written a lyric in years. Late 70s early 80s. But today, my brain kinda gushed. God knows what brought it on, but on it came.

Since it's the first for over a couple of decades, I thought I would share it. Here goes. No title for it yet, though.

This has a languid metre, so read it slowly.

1. I like to wake up in the morning

And see you sleeping next to me.

I watch your body stir with each and every breath,

It makes me kind of feel so ha-ha-happy.

C. I feel my love for you

Rising up within me.

And when you open your eyes,

It's like watching the sun rise.

2. I like to put my arms around you

And smell the scent of your tresses.

And I just love the way you snuggle in

To my arms and my soft caresses.
