Pinkster,

You are never anything but warm, and fun and friendly and outrageous in a really good way!! If someone takes you wrong, then they obviously don't understand your intent. Please don't ever change!! Why would you want to be what you aren't anyway? You are perfect just the way you are, and if anyone can't handle a strong, self-assured confident woman, then...the heck with 'em!! I would hope that if someone takes you "wrong" then they would ask for clarification. If they don't, if they can't be bothered, then why should you be bothered worrying about it?

Too many people walk around looking at the pavement ignoring the people around them....I used to be one of them, but about a year ago when I was making other 'life changing' decisions, I vowed to walk with my head held high, make eye contact with people and smiling at them.....yep...I've had some funny looks but many smile back....it makes my day when they do that...soooo....keep yakking to people on the street....I'm sure it brightens their day.....

Absolutely nothing ABNORMAL about doing that ...just means you love life :-4

Bezzy, I loved what you said here. Forget the ones who give you the funny look, and remember the ones who smile back. Even the ones who give the funny look will probably be thinking or talking about you later, and that means you've touched someone, and maybe they'll start doing the same! Great attitude you have here!! :-6

And you're just the one to be obsessively normal, eh?

Anyone that misunderstands you has made a snap judgment without getting all the facts. Do you really want such a person as a friend? Do you really want such a person's approval?

I talk to strangers all the time. Shoppers often think I'm the manager; I mean, who else would approach and ask how their day is going? :wah:

If somebody gives me one of "those looks" it usually strikes my funny bone. Most things strike my funny bone. You're in good company, Pinky. :-6

Occasionally I go through this 'self-questioning' too -- many people think I am a little 'out there', as, like you, I will talk with anyone and express my emotions so freely.

Even my twin sister often comments that I am "over the line" with my personality.

It can hurt if it is said by someone you care about. But, like these fine people here have stated, I am who I am. I am over the top and proud of it!

I think of you very similiarly. You have such goodness in your heart.

THAT is all that matters.

And quite frankly, having you in my life has made me smile much more.

How can *that* ever be a bad thing?

Pinky you are NOT abnormal you are UNIQUE with a heart of gold that anyone can see from a mile off - be happy , dont sell yourself short .
