not really, most English people would visit the lakes in Canada rather than the States

...but as we can't afford either, we'll go camping in the Lake District instead:D

How long is Canada's Shoreline?

If you were to try to walk around Canada, following the shoreline at a good pace of 20 kilometres each day, it would take you 33 years to complete the journey. At 243,000 kilometres, Canada's shoreline is the longest in the world. (See more at the National Atlas of Canada)

there is my link, ok so yeah I have no idea about the differences between shoreline and coast line but suspect shoreline includes lakes, Nommy me thinks we are on 2 different topics, we have coast line meaning ocean touches all that landmass, if we added our lake shores I suspect we would be a *** of a lot larger than yours. :-4

I love CANADA it is beyond beautiful I have driven from Vancouver to Montreal and every mile was Awesome. I have skied at Whistler, and camped at Lake Louise, and enjoyed Ontario, Alberta, Edmenton I can't say enough about the beauty that is CANADA..
