Wasted moments in the hazy past
The things I should have said
Time races by fleeting and fast
Only memories in my head.
I catch myself making a wish
To change what has transpired
The present is all that lives in me
What's gone must be retired.
For every moment that I breathe
Is a chance to make a change
To set aright all my mistakes
And plan to rearrange.
So if I choose to turn my back
On fear, on pain and rage
I choose to move into the light
And leave behind my cage.
As life is not an endless string of
Pleasantries and tea
All I can do is hold my ground
And always stay true to me.
Now Is All There Is
Now Is All There Is
lovely and poignant as always Koan!
Now Is All There Is
Thanks. The last verse took me longer than usual on this one.

Scratch up another one for you. Another beautiful poem. It is wonderful. Beautiful last verse. Worth the effort with its inherent beauty of being you.
