Quick question

Just a quick question so I don't say the wrong thing. I recently joined an online dating site and I've been talking to a guy that seems very intelligent and I would like to get to know him better.

The problem is that I am on disability for a severe back problem. I've been on these sites before and as soon as someone asks "what do you do" and I answer that I'm on disability for a back problem they seem to vanish.

I really don't want to blow it with this guy. I think they either assume that I'm lying about it because I'm too lazy to work or that the problem affects the way I look, neither of which is true. I look normal but I do have a problem that prevents me from working.

I just got the "are you working right now" e-mail from him and I'm wondering what would be the best way to respond.

Are you old enough to say you are retired from your job? Then you would not have to explain till when or if you were ready.

Only mention the back problem if it comes to the "nitty gritty." Tell him you are a control freak and love to get the upper hand...:-3

Tell him the truth. If he runs, at least you'll know he's a jerk. Ppl that judge (especially on-line) are the biggest liars anyway. And don't you judge bye the past guys that became MIA.
