I had some for a shoulder injury, it was OK. I should contact the physiotherapist
and ask them what the treatment will comprise - they may be able relieve your
fears!

Wondered if I should reply to this, as I might put you off. I had NHS physio treatment for my neck, and ended up having to see a specialist! To be fair to the physio dept. they did realise that they were doing me no good. But I do object to pain for no result!! Now how has that left you? Sorry!

Thanks for being honest:eek: . I have heard the bad storys before. I have a friend who ended up worse off than when he went in because of physio - maybe i should forget to make that appointment after all .

pantsonfire .... Thankfully I've never needed physiotherapy, that's not to say I never will. If I were in your shoes I'd deff go for the initial appointment to see exactly what's on offer to you. After all, you may well have plenty to gain and nothing to lose.
I never listen to " horror" stories from other people, we're all individuals with different pain thresholds and perception's of how we see thing's.
At the end of the day, if it does prove too painful,(I'd expect a little discomfort) you can alway's say,"enough is enough" and opt out of further appointment's.
I urge you to at least consider it. Good luck ...
