Are you clumsy

Post by pantsonfire321@aol.com »

I am the most clumsy person in the world if there is a tool box to trip over or gash my leg on (3 times) you can bet i'll do it .

Ive tripped over more times than i can remember( in most stores) and as for stairs, ive fallen down them up them ,slid ,triped - why am i so clumsy and NO i don't drink:) i just have this awful habit of falling over or tripping and landing in an undignified heap (very unlady like) . Any one else exceptionally clumsy or is it just me ;)

Nope, it is just you. :wah:

Actually, I am the same way. We have this rocking chair next to Trixie's cage..always has been there. Never moved. But I insist on bumping into it almost every day. I have walked into open cupboard doors, closed cupboard doors...up and down stairs, and have tripped over absolutly nothing.

I do not know, but I have done it, more than once, and usually in front of an audience.

I can be clumsy too... and I bruise really easy :-1

I'm especially clumsy in clothes shops, I always walk into the clothes stands and knock clothes off the shelf... :lips:

Have you been to the doctors because I think sometimes if you have an inner problem it effects your balance so it can effect things like you walking into things (dont quote me on it though) maybe you should have it checked out. :-4

I think my most embarrassing was in Mcdonalds in front of about 20 teenagers .There was a small sign on the floor saying WET FLOOR BE CAREFUL - so there i go ignoring the warning and hit the deck with as much grace as a stunned Rhino . My daughter walked away from me and i sort of sat there shouting at everyone laughing at me .Teenagers, i bet i made their day.:-2

I used to be accident prone while I was living in a home where I was very uncomfortable (roommates). I was so nervous that I could not even walk anywhere without accidentally doing something wrong, spilling something or bumping something. Once I even fell down an entire flight of hardwood floor stairs. And I dislocated my left elbow. :-1

Usually I am not that way, but living in that particular place, with the people who lived there, I was. And it only got worse until I moved, then I was fine. :o

Lol! I've done that too! My son, who was 2 at the time, ran away from me giggling, so I had to chase after him. Never even saw the sign! Just tripped on a lump of hard air (who says all air has to be soft and fluffy? huh??) and skidded (un)gracefully across the floor! Duh!

Interesting that all the people admitting to being clumsy are women!!

Any one else notice clumsiness gets worse just before a period? :-3

They don't call me Queen Klutz for nothing. I'm a lot like sunny. So...don't hand me fine china, fine crystal, or small babies.

The bar where I work has the two islands in the middle. When you are busy, there's times you're making like a figure 8 walking. I wouldn't say I'm clumsy, just I bounced my arms off the corners of those islands and had bruises so many times, they decided to babyproof the place. They bought those corner guards you put on coffee table corners to protect your baby, and put them on all the corners of the islands. I no longer bruise.:D

I remember one time i was on my way home from a friends house - it was only a short bus ride so i made my way to the bus stop . I thought i looked the dogs wattsits;) all dressed up, my little black dress killer high heels and black opaque tights (anyone remember them ) and a longish black coat that came up to just above my knees .Well there i am walking down the road enjoying the odd wolf whistle (as you do )then all of a sudden the curb dissapeares ( right out side a small building site)and i end up flat on me arse with two great big gapping holes the size of oranges( how i dont know) on both my knees . I could of cryed - i couldn't take the tights off because it was bloody cold and to add insult to injury i had two great big scrapes on either knee. I did however manage to hoist myself back upright (egnoring the cackles of laughter) but my problem now was how do i get home without without anyone seeing me - to be honest i must have looked pissed or like an old pro . I did eventually get home but it was the one day i bumped into everybody i didnt want to see - thankgod opaque tights went out of fashion.
