Adam Faith was my very first heart throb...singer, actor, business man...I was driving to the shops when i heard that he'd died in 2003. I had to pull over it affected me so much. I was 14 when I bought his first record.

Both Shawn Cassidy and Andy Gibbs in my grade school years, and then I stopped having crushes on singers and started focusing on the actual before-me-type guys

Mmm...I love both Robert Plant and Jimmy Page. Jimmy's aged far better, but Robert was pretty hot in his younger days.

OMG - I am not alone!
Donny Osmond and Leif Garret! And the Bay City Rollers!
Does anyone remember Rex Smith? He was in a movie about a guy dating a younger girl. His character was like 19 and the girl was like 14 - she met him at the place she went to take guitar lessons if I remember right. (Give a girl a break - it was like 25 years ago!) Anyway, he was pretty hot too, but I can only remember the one album.

Now I tend to have crushes on singers that seem to have an aversion towards eyeliner, like Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day) Brandon Flowers (The Killers) and Joel Madden (Good Charlotte) Not sure why!

Minxie, wasn't Chris Cornell with Soundgarden?
I loved them before they broke up!:(
I grew up in the 70s and 80s and truly had embarrassing taste in music. Truly! David Cassidy of The Partridge Family was my very first crush.
I still remember my sister Susie and I buying a copy of 'Tiger Beat' magazine because there was a shirtless centerfold of Mr. Cassidy:rolleyes:
(no wonder I listen to talk radio now):)

Can't say I blame you -- she was (and still is) gorgeous!
I still remember the final scene in "Grease" -- those leather pants were *painted* on Ms. Newton-John -- and did she ever look hot!

My crush was actually pre-Grease; it goes back to the "Have You Never Been Mellow" days.

So then it was pre- "Let's Get Physical", right?
What an awful song that was!

Yes, the crush was over long before "Let's Get Physical" and if it hadn't been, that song would have done the trick.

Buffy Saint Marie was a folk singer in the 60's. I met her at a powwow on the Blackfeet reservation in the 70's. She was so cool, she sat down with my family and me and had some dinner. I guess I just can't forget what a sweet woman she was!;)

Josephine Baker (1906-1975)
Racism caused her to leave the US for Paris, where her extraordinary beauty and free spirit caused a sensation. Her uninhibited, topless nightclub acts pretty much kickstarted the bohemian lifestyle of Paris in the twenties and thirties.
The adoration of the French for her inspired hundreds of black American jazz musicians to move to Paris.
She became a French citizen in 1937, and worked for the Resistance during Nazi occupation. After the war, she and her husband (a French aristocrat) adopted many war orphans of all races, and raised them in their opulent country chateau.
There are dozens of breathtakingly beautiful photos of the woman, but she's topless in many of them, so I'll offer up this charming shot of her angelic face .
" looked very different from the Statue of Liberty, but what did that matter? What was the good of having the statue without the liberty?" - Josephine Baker

I had a major thing for the country singer Glen Campbell when I was younger. Then it was Englad Dan (Dan Seals) of England Dan & John Ford Coley. Got to meet them after a concert once!! :-4

When I was 11, I used to have a picture of Anita Harris on the inside of the lid of my school desk. It was from "Look-In"
You may well laugh, but 35 years later she still looks pretty FIT
