Is it your puter that freezes or the web the freezes? Cause I had major problems with freezing & getting knocked off the web using AOL 9.0. So I finally downloaded AOL 9.0SE version, last week, and so far no problems. (Hope I didn't jinx it now)

I had the same problem with my old laptop, it would just freeze and the only way out was to switch off.

I cured the bugger and bought a new one!

It's my scanner. there is some kind of weird sodtware conflict, every now and then it freezes after scanning a few pages and I have to re-boot. Wastes a lot of time but I can't afford a multi page scanner yet and replacing the oine I#ve got before it is actually completely dead seems a bit off.

Sorry to hear about your comp probs GMC, these blasted machines can be such a pain in the ass can't they!! And the worse thing is, are those error messages that appear when something goes wrong. I mean they may as well be speaking in code or some alien language, becuase I'll be amazed if most people actually understand what the heck they are on about!! :wah:
