Im not going to work

About 2 yrs ago I bought my wife some flowers. I stuck my head in the bouqet to smell them and a sharp stem pierced my retina. It gouged a good sized chunk out of my eye. Amazingly the retina had rejuvenated itself in 24 hrs, but its never felt right since. Last night while sleeping I did something, poked my finger in there or caught the corner of the sheet in my eye, not sure. So Ill go see a specialist if I can get in today.

Theres a good chance theyll want to just put me "to sleep". "Put me out to pasture". "Send me to the glue factory". so just in case Ill say bye now.

If a specialist can't get you in TODAY, go to the emergency room. Eyesight is nothing to mess with! Let us know if they don't decide to send you to the glue factory.:wah:

Yeah, they always assume something else-take in a doctor's slip in with you, and slap it in their face tomorrow! You have had this problem for awhile now, you need to take care of it.

:wah: I get it.... it was a sweet pea that gouged his eye in the first place. Hmm never realized they had sharp stems though.

Ouch!, that had to hurt .....

Sounds as though you may have a minute piece of scar tissue which ought to be easily rectified. All the best to you ..
