Gossiping is not beyond me, but I try to keep it to a minimum.
I don't understand guys that get their hair highlighted, since it'll be gone in a couple of weeks anyway. :yh_eyebro

House hunting ? Great !!! Then you can start all the fires you want. Good luck. Hope you find just the right thing. Its a buyers market right now and the interest rates are still pretty good so you should have easy sailing.
I saw a guy on tv that turned a silo into a home, it was pretty cool. Will you be looking at silo's ?

And you act as the old of before
You'd likely talk of the days of yore.
Yeh, children would consider you a bore
And visiting you might be a chore.
So get off your keester before you die.
and go bungee jumping or learn to fly
Live some stories to widen their eye.
Or do what others do ..... lie.

Every 'type' is sexy in her way. As I've said many times here, I'm a hound, and most scents catch my attention. :sneaky: But I'm a real sucker for a dark, petite woman with a smoky voice. Not a smoker's voice, a la Lucille Ball, mind - a smokey voice, low sexy and smooth. A woman like that can lock her almond eyes with mine and have me at her mercy.... for twenty years and counting.

OOoooo. I love a challenge.
What have you done in the new house so far ?
Painted the garage (walls, celing, & floor), kitchen, dining room, 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom; rebuilt the walk-in closet organizer using shelves & bars from two bedroom closets; mowed the lawn.
What colors are you using ?
Mojave White. It's a light khaki color.
Are you going for a particular look ?
Nah. We have too much stuff from too many phases of our life. We'll stay coordinated eclectic.
If money were no object, what would the look be ?
Honestly? About the same. Bigger TV, 3 car garage, granite & stainless in the kitchen, a room where I can do pottery with a wheel and kiln.
Do you have a lot of tools ?
A lot for a novice, a few for a carpenter.
If so how will you store them in the garage ? (wall pegs, shelving etc.)
Short term, I'm buying adjustable shelves; long term, I'll build a custom workshop using half the garage.
Do you have the formal l/r thing or do you prefer lived in and cozy ?
Open Open Open! Our ceilings are low (8 feet) and we'd prefer 10. One great room with a separate kitchen is best for us. Simple and welcoming.
Did you get any new furniture or are you happy with what you had ?
We've had the same sofa and love seat since '93 and they're still very comfortable and timeless. We'll get a new mattress because my beloved's back is bothering her. Also, I got rid of my office desk long ago and have room for one again, so I may try building one.
Is your wife happy there ?
Yes. :-4 She love the low-E glass so she can enjoy maximum sunshine without all the heat.
Will you be building a water feature ?
Absolutely! The hill is sloped so I'm dreaming of a babbling brook all the way to the fence.
Do you enjoy lawn work ?
Yes. I look at the back garden as another room. The English taught me that grass is best as a border around plants, rather than the other way round.
Will you have a garden ?
Yes, but mainly for flowers
What will you grow if you do ?
Maybe a few veggies, but definitely flowers to attract hummingbirds and butterflies.
Are there trees in the back yard ?
Three nice oaks
Do you like hammocks ?
Not really
Have you met the neighbors ?
Nice lady shares our back fence. The neighbor to our left is the realtor's sister. On our right is an Air Force Master Sergeant. Everybody's very nice.
Do you like privacy or will you hang out in the garage drinking beer with the other guys ?
I've never been a "hang out" kind of guy, but I'm not ruling it out.
Do you work on your own car ?
I used to. I won't any more.
Will you be getting a grill ?
I've had the same Smokey for years.
Are you a good griller ?
Bush league for sure. :wah: But I like to grill wings & smother them in hot sauce.
Do you prefer a steak or a juicy burger on the grill ?
I'm a chicken guy primarily, but if it's beef and grill, it has to be steak.
Is there a fence in the backyard ?
Yes, but only 5 feet high.
Do you enjoy watching the neighbors at night with binoculars ?
Not yet. :sneaky:
Have you ever considered using a telescope to watch them with instead ?
:wah: I'd rather sneak up to the window and cup my hands around my eyes.
