Tomorrow you Brits have an match against Eucador on National TV here at 11am EST I will been pulling for you all the way.

I don't know much about the Ecuadorian team I guess I better do my homework so I know what your up against..:p

Unfortunately they are forecasting very hot temperatures tomorrow (over 100 degrees)...this worries me.

That could favor the Ecuadorian's. :-6 But at this level of Footbal all these players have played all over the world in some of the worst weather on the planet so lets be hopeful.

I will say playing in hot and humid weather takes the life right out of you quickly..:-5

Wow guys....

Ecuador is giving them a game it seems. I had checked ESPN and ESPN2(American tv) and I didnt see the game. They have played all of the World Cup on ESPN and ESPN2 so I have missed the entire first half thinking that it wasnt on yet. Again assumption gets the best of me. Turns out they are playing it on NBC(I think) so I will watch the second half. Part of me is rooting for England, even though I could care less who wins it all. But im sorry to say that once Ecuador goes down a goal I will be rooting for.......well......anyone to score......I like to see goals. :sneaky:

Horrible game which I had to play at school, like a properly brought up gell. Well I played hockey too, though that at least gave me a fine weapon to get my opponents with. Smile.

I played hockey too Pam.....those hockey sticks sure were lethal ...... my shins are all dented and messed up to this day.....and the balls...how hard were they ????

Of course this was in the days before mega-padding....no room for 'wussies' in those days

I can relate to all that, Bez. No padding. The bruises. But it's more blessed to give than to receive :sneaky: and I was less dented than some. Also, at that time I could run very fast. Grin.

Mmmmm...that must have been my mistake...however I could swim fast, which is why I switched from hockey to competitive swimming.
