I got a call from a friendly computer saying I didn't win the grand prize I'd registered for (I virtually never enter sweepstakes & don't remember doing so lately), but I did win a free 3 day gulf cruise out of Galveston.

Do these things happen? I ask because I never pay attention to these things, but don't want to miss out on a free cruise if legit.

Those "free" vacations obligate you to sit through an hours-long sales pitch. And they don't take no for an answer. It's not worth it, if you ask me.

I'm saving for a 2-week cruise of the Mediterranean next year...it's a milestone birthday so I'm going to treat myself. Barcelona, Athens, Monaco, Venice, Sicily....gods, I can't wait.

Two things,

First yes there is some agency that offer free cruise. But like everything else they hope you will become a client of them and will buy all your future holiday with them. By registering you end up in their database and will receive mail in and offers from them just for registering for the free draw.

Did Tom Cruise really have a baby or is this some big PR ploy? I mean we havent even seen this baby yet!

I believe his ex Nicole is getting married this weekend in Australia.

I also heard he is getting hitched in two weeks at a Scientology Center.

Are there any Scientologists here in the Garden? I'd be curious to know . . .

I think there is a recent member that is into Scientology. I think I remember reading their posts in the "What do you believe" thread.
