Late last night I got a serious craving for some melon, so I hopped in the car to go to my 24-hour supermarket. Being me, I can't just go in, get the one thing I'm there for and go home. I wandered the aisles, picking up a couple extra things, and while I was in the bulk food aisle, I saw some awesome looking peanut brittle, that was mostly peanuts, just the way I like it, so I snagged a half pound. I just went to get a handful, and I cannot find that bag of peanut brittle anywhere in this house. I looked in the fridge, even the freezer, in my bedroom, thinking I'd woken up in the middle of the night for a snack and forgot about it.....but it is simply not anywhere in this place.

Maybe I have a ghost with the same fondness for peanut brittle???

Did you check your car? I've had stuff fall out of my bags, and I not find it till I needed it. By the way, don't ever do this with milk, unless you wanna pay to have your car shampoed to remove the smell of soured milk.

When it's just gone too far to still be edible you'll find it in the pantry underneath the potaoes you bought at the same time.

Happens all the time :)

It was in the house last night. My house is very small. There are only so many places it could be. It is NOT here. It's actually kinda starting to freak me out.... :yh_nailbi

Well when you hear something munching later you'll have your answer. :wah:

Just ask "it" to be nice and share.

You may have an inter- dimensional portal in your house. It might be in the cupboard under the stairs (well what else is it for?) or if you don't have one of those it'll be in the basement.

I believe the Bermuda Triangle is under my desk because I'm always inexplicable loosing things under there. So I know how you feel. :wah:

There's a Bermuda Triangle in my washing machine too, but its a very small one and it only likes single socks! :wah:

BR, whenever I lose something like that, 9 times out of 10 it seems to turn up in the fridge! Dunno why! Try your freezer too! ;)

The step-kids are at their mom's and my son is at his dad's. I've looked in the fridge and freezer, I've looked in the trash. I've looked in dresser drawers! The stuff is GONE.

I've looked in the entertainment center, I've looked in the computer desk. I've looked in the file cabinet of all places!!! Gone....

Don't think I'll go there BR... Did you ever find it?

I once lost my reading glasses. Couldn't find them anywhere and thought I was totally losing it !!!!!!!! Finally I decided to give up, have a shower and hit the hay. In the shower, weird thing.. I started to go blind... gave me a total fright, till I realised the steam had fogged up me specs which I was somehow actually still wearing. Hence - loss of vision.....

Ain't that the truth.

Of the same ilk is this truth. You fall totally beserkly in love with a pair of gold leather high heeled boots, a jacket of finest orange silk, a yellow swimsuit.. all hideously expensive but ya gotta have them so you grit your teeth and pay up .... The next day either you will see everyone you know wearing the aforementioned goodies, or they will be in a bargain basement somewhere on sale at such a miserably low price that all you joy evaporates instantly and ya go kick the cat.

Cars!!! I've liberated tlw and brought him/her/it with me into this completely baffling thread. TLW has rights too, to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. To this end, the FG medical team are considering implanting vocal chords as soon as a suitable donor can be found. No longer will he/she/it be up for grabs, a mere object to be used and discarded at the whim of other FGers.

TLW is FREEEEEEEEE
