Wow, Valerie, the pictures are great. Makes me kind of long for the cabin in the woods I have always wanted.

It's a place called Flemming Meadows, it's about 4,000ft. elevation.

The 2 pics in the first post with Jerusha and Lynn looking back at me,

I was mainly trying to get some perspective, that's manzanita on

either side of the trail. We were riding through when I asked if we

could stop, they see this stuff several times a week, but it's been

a long time since I've ridden through manzanita over our HEADS!

There's not too many pics but it's hard when you're riding, opening

up your saddle bags and then trying to hold camera AND horse. And

then putting it away again securely to keep riding.
