I gotta go shopping this weekend to replace some of the things my puppy has chewed or shredded. 4 pairs of shoes, 6 pairs of socks, 4 toilet rolls, 1 pair of sun glasses, 1 mobile charger, 1 mascara, and a new harness for himself. Oh and the telephone bill needs replacing.

This little monster is going to cost me a fortune.

It doesn't happen while I'm out because I leave the place tidy, its when I'm sitting here at my desk and not watching him. :sneaky: :wah:

I'm looking forward to shoe shopping,

(I know what to do now if I dont like a pair I have.) :wah:

Oh boy, I hope little Jamie didn't get himself in TOO much trouble!! The shoes, well, I can understand a good excuse to go shoe shopping, but he had tohave made a huge mess with that mascara!!

Can I ask....what types of toys have you got for puppers? And do you know about Kongs?? (I don't want to talk to you as if you don't know what you're doing, because you so obviously adore your pets...) I just want to help if I can and if you need it.

I have every kind of toy you can think of, soft fluffy or plastic toys are no good he chews them up within two minutes. He does like those hard rubber bone type things or a ball, his fav is the thick rope thats tied in a knot because both dogs can play together with that.

I've never heard of a Kong what is it? :-3

They dont ship to Spain so I'll have to look around for them or something similar.

I have some of the usual ones like the balls and bones.

But If I dont find any it'll have to be the old fashioned way of training him with treats. I think he'll be a quick learner cause he watches the older dog and copies. :)

Well, heck I can ship you one. They're hollow, so you can put treats or peanut butter inside and it keeps them occupied for quite a while. It's challenging to get to whatever you decide to stuff into the thing. My dogs have always loved their Kongs.

CRATE TRAIN.

Wouldn't want the little darlin' to hurt himself OR swallow something

that's going to take a $1500 operation to remove!!

I thought about that one Val but he seems to be learning pretty quick considering hes only 14 weeks old. When I take both dogs out I praise Cuqui with a treat for doing her jobs outside and he copies what she does.

When we go out both dogs are confined to the hallway where they have their beds and can run up and down, all doors to other rooms are closed and there is no furniture or anything they can get at.

They do make a lot of noise when they play together but the good thing is they dont bark indoors. :-4

Thats one thing we do get in fg Venus is good advice whatever the problem is.

He goes to his bed about 10pm for the night and doesn't get up until I do in the morning luckily both dogs are the same I've never had to tire them out at night. :-4

My Buster never took to a Kong, unfortunately. I thought it was great, though!

Buster is also a vicious toy-chewer. He can get right to the stuffing in no time at all. Who woulda thunk it with such a tiny dog?!

I have sewn up more toys than I care to remember!

Ah, but for my Buster, I'd do just about anything . . .:-4

I know what you mean:rolleyes:

I only do it with the more expensive toys I buy, the ones that have 6-8 squeakers in them. And only when he's dug away at one particular spot.

But the next time they're ripped, they're trashed:)
