Not yet,

I still live at home, but should be moving out soon.

I had the choice of moving out with the money I had saved or to buy my race car. I chose to buy my race car on top of a few other things like my RS Camaro that I had, but have just recently sold it. It was "my car"(Street car), but I blew the motor out of it!

My race car has cost me a pretty penny, but I dont mind so much because my parents are cool. I have recently stopped seing a certain girl of mine, but I will look to settle down soon. That is, if my racing career allows me to.

Until then, its nights out in the city with some freinds, and a few flings.

Just that its an expensive sport, and she would have to have a really, really......really really really, big influence in my life to get me to give it up, thats all.

Right now Im jumping from job to job, trying to find my "niche". I can always fall back on my original trade, which is welding, but I dont have a particular interest in it. The fumes you breathe are just annoying, and the heat in the summer time is as equally frustrating, but I will say that at a certain point in the trade it does pay pretty well. I have been thinking about getting a part time job as of recently, so that I can try and enroll into some college courses pertaining to the building and repair of high performance engines. While I own a race car, I have always wanted to tinker with the power under the hood.

Well, thats the thing. I dont really know exactly what I want to do the rest of my life. I know that I dont want to be stuck in a low end job making no more than $15/hr, but I know im more competent than that, and can do much of anything I commit myself to. I really enjoy writing, but I really dont like to write about boring things, and im not nosy enough to be a reporter....its just not my style.

I have always thought of my parents as being truly in love. I never really have asked about their personal life from this perspective. For one, its too embarrassing, and two, I have never asked due to the fact of me always seeing them being happy together, I have always assumed they love each other more than anything.

Me only beeing 24, I havnt really been exposed to all of the drivers, so I will answer this question as to who I beleive is the best race car driver from my own perspective.

From my own perspective I think that no one was as good of a race car driver than Dale Earnhardt. His talent on super speedways supercedes anyone I have ever witnessed. His ability to take the least bit of air flow and turn it into his advantage was deffinetly one of his better attributes, let alone the fact that he could control the race car anywhere on the track including the infield. I have seen him pass other drivers doing 200mph in the Grass. He was truly the greatest of his time and proved so in tying Richard Petty in Cup championships with 7 with far fewer victories than the "King" himself.

I remember seeing a number of girls, and feeling like I have been hit with a ton of bricks, but no....I cant really say I have been truly in love.

Does it bother you at all that much of your peer group (24 year old males) don't live at home and are self supporting, or paid their way through college and are into a career, or are married and starting a family, or have finished military service and are in college?

Yeah I realize that. As I have said before, the money I have saved I purchased the race car from my father as he needed help paying his taxes. I also bought my RS Camaro from him to help out with the money situation around here too. He had co-signed for my sister-in-law to receive the Camaro, in which she and my brother eventually were unable to pay for, which left the debt in his hands, along with a few other miss-fortunes that I am more than happy to help out with around here.

Now that you are done diving into personal struggles, care to know anything else??

I dont street race. I find it pretty dangerous and unintelligible.

I believe it is due to me being involved in a serious accident at a young age(15). I was with a few friends on a rainy night. We had stopped and got a 12 pack of beer(wasnt a factor considering that we were on our way home from the drive-through). The driver, being stupid had taken a turn way too fast and we hydro-plain-ed sideways taking down a telephone poll, flipping(have no idea how many times), and ending up upside down under the telephone poll five feet from a creek. Everyone was ok, all except the driver being knocked out with a broken pelvic, and a collapsed lung. The passenger broke three ribs, but that was the extent of all of the injuries. After that I almost punch people who go over 90. I really get mad, when they are careless. I mean really Fn mad.

I havnt been further than Tennessee, Indiana, Michigan, nor the eastern most side of Ohio. Although, I believe that I ventured in to North Carolina at some point being lossed in Tennessee on my way to Gatlinberg(SP).

I WONT fly. At least it will take a lot of persuasion to get me to fly. ALOT!

I have two brothers and one sister, whom is expecting a boy within three months.

Both of my brothers are involved in racing as well. My oldest brother is the master behind the logistical building(correct term?) of all of the race cars along with my father. My other brother, whom is older as well, has a race car in the same class as I do, as does my father, but he is thinking about selling it to put his oldest son in a quarter midget(race cars for the little dudes). Hes four now I think. My father just recently broke the heel off his entire foot, and because of this he is thinking about selling his race car too.....its not a good time for us right now in the racing world.

But to answer your question, we are close I suppose. We have a mutual understanding of each other, and get together and have some drinks, or go to a big racing event and dream of our ambitious goals we have set for ourselves in this sport of auto racing we so desire. All of us know we have the ability to compete on a very high NASCAR level, limited however by the green thats needed to be popular.

I only ask because I work part-time for a podiatrist (foot doctor). Your dad's condition sounds terribly painful!:-1

Oh God, where to begin?

He had to have his heel taped back into place, at the same time has had plates, screws and god knows what else he had done. From what the doctors have said the surgery was a success, but I cant help but wonder the kind of pain he is in. Knowing my father he wont look as if hes in pain and will act as if nothing has happened but I know he has to be sore alot.

As far as details into the surgery from a professional standpoint, I would be lossed in trying to tell you what has been done. I never really asked. A guys sort of take on the matter consists of "oh well...screw it back up and tell me when I can walk again doc". About all I can say.

Never really thought about that.

I know that in mid July when the temperature is about 95 degrees and the sun is burning you to no end, I cant wait for fall.

And when its the middle of february, I am cursing the bitter cold, and pray that it jumps directly into summer.

But if I had to choose one, as we speak, I would say spring. I love the coldness gradually turning into comfortable cool evenings, and sunny yet mild days that you can never grow tired of having. It also marks the beginning of racing season when you subconsciencely smell the burning of racing fuel that inspires us all.

Probably not.

I am looking into going into business with my uncle right now, but as soon as I get something going, I will start partying again.

I will probably be racing on saturdays, which leaves my fridays to be quite short so that im not tired or in the middle of a hangover while doing 100 mph on a 3/8 mile track.
