Thank you so much for suggesting a name for our boat! It suits her perfectly! My husband worked his fingers to the bone to get this boat lookng as beautiful as she does! I wanted you to see! Hope you like it as much as I do!

Thanks again! I cant express how perfect the name is for her!!!!

Can you tell I am excited?????

It was a great sail even though it took us 10 hours to go 12 miles!!! We got stuck in a storm!!

It is stunning, DG. I'm really pleased for both of you, I hope you get a lot from the sailing. I've never been on a sailboat that big - Wayfarers and 405s are far more my size. I've been blown flat a lot though - it tends to happen in small craft when the wind's changeable. You were out in a storm? I'm sure you've a lot more experience than I have, between you.

I saved the photos, I'm going to get a print made for my wall.

Here, just to show how wildly different life on the water can get, are a Wayfarer and a 405. I know where I am with one of these.

I've never tried a Moth on a foil though - that's the ultimate look-mom-no-hands sailing I know of. There's a stunning picture of it at http://www.rohanveal.com/photos/2005_euros/DSC_1124.JPG - the entire hull comes out of the water once you get a modest speed, and then you're flying. The whole boat weighs maybe 40 pounds, rigged.
