Dang, BTS and I are about to celebrate our 1st anniversary. We got married in shorts in a park with my Minister cousin presiding. Short, sweet and to the point at 49 years of age. Idon't have any pics on my computer......:-3

Well........BTS had the photo on his computer......I liked our wedding.....thanks ladies........:-4 Are there a bunch of elephants here or do we just remember our friends special moments?

And I love my husband too!

We were married 5 1/2 years ago in Las Vegas at the Monte Carlo Hotel on Las Vegas Blvd. I was able to get a rabbi (we're both Jewish) after searching online. It was perfect!

My first marriage was a big wedding. This one suited me much better at this time in my life.

Oh yes...she's lovely looking and has a lovely nature and they have a gorgeous son who I'm looking after on Thursday while she goes and has a pampering day....lucky her..and lucky me...lewis is a treasure.

Well...My eldest sons marriage ended in divorce but he has a lovely lad aged 8

My daughters marriage ended in divorce

My youngest son is 34 so I'm hopeful he has settled down and will hold on tightly to the blessings he has.

All my 3 kids are wonderful but have been unlucky with their partners. I'm sure Mr / Mrs right will turn up one day.

I am an identical twin and also have an older brother.

When I got divorced from my first husband, I felt like such a failure. My bro and sis were in thriving marriages and I was not -- and it was only two years into the marriage.

Bez, keep the faith for your children -- seven years after my divorce, I remarried. I hope they are optimistic about finding a soulmate; being cynical and pessimistic does *not* attract people to you. Always dream and hope for the best.

They're not cynical and pessimistic thank goodness, although my daughter does find life lonely without a soulmate. She is always busy with her Buddhist acitvities....which reminds me....gotta dash, have a meeting in 45 mins....see you all later..

The clue in the sentence under consideration is called an exclamation mark. Even in Drawing Class it had significance.

Without the exclamation mark:

Oh no. those are my good qualities.

That's a statement, emphatic by reason of the italics.

Oh no! those are my good qualities.

That's an exclamation, and does not mean what the statement meant. I prefer the latter but either will do.

The statement is informative, the exclamation is observational. We learned these things aged about six, and it has stuck with me ever since. Does the recent introduction of smilies negate punctuation? I can think of a single occasion in the last twelve months when I've employed a smilie and it was done to comment on smilies, not to improve my ability to express myself. The way I have my browser configured, if a smilie moves or flickers I don't even know it's there anyway. I'd rather be misinformed than streched out on the floor in an epileptic fit.

Either English is still fully capable of conveying meaning, without the employment of changed font sizes or Drawing in general, or the English Speaking World has entered barbarous times. Barbarous originated as the sound made by incomprehensible foreigners. Baa, baa. It was probably non-PC even 2,500 years ago when it was a fairly fresh joke.

This isn't a get-flopstock post. This is a gritted-teeth what is the world coming to post. "Some folks 'get' you, some folks don't" isn't valid comment on the poster, but it may well be a valid comment on the reader.

Some folks 'get' you, some folks don't.. gotta decide where to expend the effort, IMO.
