I do love the warnings on the process food that says, "remove from plastic wrap before puting in oven" this is generally written near the "preheat oven to 350F" words.

but at least it gives the rest of us some entertainment :D

but isn't it kind of sad to think they have to include those kinds of warnings because idiots tried these things.

i'm reminded of a newspaper story from a couple of years ago about someone in the US that succesfully convinced a jury that the manufacturers of Winibago, should of put instructions in the handbook/manual that you cannot leave the driving seat to make the coffee, after engaging cruise control at 50 mph.

He obviously survived the resulting crash and probably burnt himself on the coffee LOL

I suspect this was an urban myth. I cannot imagine this really happened.....or can I ?

never doubt ... anything....

I remember a case in the USA where a lady got a healthy settlement from MacDonalds because she burned herself with the coffee and because MacDonalds did not have anything on the cup that said "hot" she won big time. Now they have HOT on the cups and it isn't because the drinker of said coffee is hot to look at

I have seen warnings on coffee from McDonald's and other such places "Caution, contents will be hot."

Certain road signs in Michigan used to warn drivers to "Watch for ice on Bridge." When one elderly lady crashed her car and caused major damage to several others, she sued the county, claiming she was watching for ice on the bridge, like the sign told her to do.

Now our signs read, "Bridge may be icy."

Yes, she won a bundle. :-5
